Spot to try the Turkish tea and sweets but their coffee is not good- maybe my mistake to ask for decaf. Bought some as souvenir for my family.
Nice place, good coffee, a menu and description of their products could give new customer better information.
Just finished the "Turkish coffee". Nothing reminiscent of real Turkish coffee. No cezve, no taste. A few years ago I tried it here and it was much better. Oh, the only thing that reminds Turkish coffee is a small glass of water.
One word. DO NOT GET CARRIED AWAY by their fancy setup and the whole hype.
I’ve had Baklava at least in a dozen places, and believe me their so called best version juicy baklava is not even the top 5 baklavas that I had, and it’s ridiculously expensive for no reason. It is neither fresh nor yummy. We sampled a couple of so called ‘Turkish delights’ and all are meh at the best.
The service too was pathetic, we were ignored by the front desk guy and he showed subtle signs of racism.
The store is decorated with good displays but don’t get mislead by this marketing hoopla. Avoid by all means
There is nothing Turkish nor anything authentic about this place.

LOKUM in Santa Barbara is a feast for the eyes. The beautiful space, decorated with intricate Turkish tiles and cozy nooks, creates a charming atmosphere reminiscent of Istanbul. The presentation of their sweets is equally impressive, with colorful Turkish delights and glistening baklava artfully displayed.
While the prices at LOKUM are on the higher side, the desserts are truly delightful. The baklava is flaky and buttery, and the Turkish delights offer a burst of flavor that melts in your mouth.
We did find the coffee to be a bit underwhelming, but the quality of the pastries almost makes up for it. Thankfully, LOKUM offers generous samples, so you can try before you buy and choose your favorites.
Overall, LOKUM is a lovely spot to indulge in some truly delicious Turkish treats. If you're looking for a visually stunning experience and don't mind splurging a bit, LOKUM is worth a visit.

Very bad customer service. The owner himself was racist and didn’t allow us to sit down on the tables stating that its closing time. But at the same time we saw some other group of people who came in with us and they were all greeted and allowed to dine in. After reading other reviews it looks like people had similar experiences. The owner should either learn how to be kind or not run a cafe at all.
