I go to the bakery at 1 pm the person who helped me was in a bad mood, I paid for a filled rosca and they gave me a regular one.

Hidden gem. The chicken mole torta is amazing, the employees are hard working and very friendly. You won’t be disappointed. The small amount of people with bad reviews are Karens or Kevins. I purposely forget to bring my lunch to work sometimes so I can come here :)

VEGAN conchas are the best I’ve tried! And I’ve tried many panaderías through out East LA and SoCal which I will not name out of respect. But this place is hands down the best I’ve tried. The baker, Enoch, is down to earth, friendly and a nice guy. My fiancé and I enjoyed the vegan conchas and other vegan bread like the puff pastries, elotes, and cake So much so we asked if Enoch would be willing to make us a wedding cake, that’s vegan for our wedding in Santa Barbara. He was up for it and now he is making the desserts and cake for our wedding, we are thrilled!! This is hidden gem for my fellow plant based foodies and really everyone, his conchas are simply the best!Be sure to call ahead for the Vegan conchas. From what I heard which can change Tuesdays is when they bake the vegan conchas and pastries. My fiancé and I are Los Angeles based but we plan to come often just for his conchas now that we know about this spot.Cheers and happy eating

Best carne asada torta I’ve ever had even while it was cold. The carne asada burrito was mostly beans i would say at least 45-50% of the burrito was just beans which is a lot considering the burrito was huge. The champurrado and arroz con leche were very good too. I wasn’t a big fan of the tres leches because it had shredded coconut on the top of it

I did an order for my office, 29 people, gave them a day heads up. They got every order right and everyone in my office was very happy with their meal. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

This is a small hispanic restaurant / bakery.

Parking: Parking either right on Haley St. infront of the establishment or other nearby streets.

Small panadería throwback to Haley Street before the bougie coffee, hipster beer, and other spillover across the freeway (I.e. the Haley Street N*** Herder celebrates in their iconic tune “Down on Haley”). In addition to great Mexican pastries, wonderful tamales during Christmas time. Rajas, pork, chicken. $3/tamale and you have to order in advance but worth it.

I stop here often on the way to work. The customer service is great, the food is delicious, and I almost never spend more than 10$ for a filling breakfast. Check out the smoothies, and tip these amazing folk! They deserve it.

Amazing torta with overeasy egg, avocado, roast beef, ham, turkey & cheese plus a side salad of lettuce & spinach with Parmesan cheese. The dressing was just the right amount of spice added. Had half left for lunch, too. Thank you so much!
