Food was good, service was great. It was crowded so we sat in the bar area on a high top table which was very comfortable. The main issue was the noise level, it was loud.

Great local tradition for top notch seafood. The happy hour is always fun too, with some nice deals. We especially enjoy the basque oyster dish.

The lobster roll was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The rockfish was decent too. However, I told the waiter about my dietary restrictions, but they still served food containing those ingredients!

Great value!

Management needs to support their staff more for when they get slammed; they know they're the most reasonably priced place for good quality seafood, and SHOULD expect getting hit.

Hadn't been here in a while. Music didn't seem as noisy.

Left VERY satisfied after having been to the old Beachside couple times. Still also a bummer Enterprise is gone. This place is holding its own.

On point oysters. Shrimp cocktail was money.

Loved the Saturday happy house, took a daytime excursion from LA to Santa Barbara riding on Amtrack for the first time and came across this place. I will definitely ne back

Bartender was very personable. Hostesses literally forgot to come get us from the bar as promised (the 5-10 Minute wait we were told was 30 Minutes before I finally checked back up front) then made up an excuse when I reminded both of them. Once finally seated, our server was great, but forgot to bring out the oysters. My dinner salad (my main course) came out less than 60 seconds after getting the oysters. This was towards the end of the night so they weren’t slammed; plenty of tables were empty. And the strawberry salad had 3 slices of strawberries and 2 pecans. I think maybe everyone was tired at the end of the shift and off their game today.

First waiter took our order then went off shift. A second waitress came and introduced herself and said she would be take care of us. I asked her to bring some more napkins, but then she was never seen or heard from again. A third person finally came and gave us our check when we were finished. Definitely strange.

First family trip to Santa Barbara in 10 years, came to Lure for dinner based on the reviews. Our waiter came to the table twice in the first hour. The bread and napkins we asked for were never brought to us. We had to ask other waiter for help whom informed us our waiter was crying in the back.

The halibut and rockfish we ordered were overcooked. Dry and hard to chew. The clam linguine for my wife was over seasoned and the linguine undercooked.

I definitely will not be visiting this restaurant again. Very disappointed.

Had a long and jacked up trip in to the Santa Barbara area. Had an early supper/dinner at Lure. Happy hour Old Fashions for $10! I did a full three course meal figuring I’d have leftovers. I was wrong. Was so happy I took some chowder to go. Everything was delicious, perfectly prepared and the service was dynamite! Can’t wait to go back!

Great atmosphere. The hostess was prompt and welcoming, and the server was friendly and knowledgeable. Mason informed us of the many varieties of clams they had and the different flavors and textures. I must say I was impressed. I didn't even know there was more than one type. Silly me. He may have forgotten about my drink once or twice, but he was really busy, and they had plenty of people walking around that I reminded about my drink and received my drink promptly afterward with apologies. It was no big deal. The food was fresh and delicious. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Oh and the happy hour food, oof, great deal and GREAT options.
