Lure Fish House

Complimentary sourdough bread - served hot with whipped butter! This was a satisfying start because the last restaurant we went to earlier in the day was served cold bread with stiff butter.

Raw Oysters - grassy bar from morro bay. Tasted fresh, non fishy, and premium as described.

Charbroiled oysters - flavorful and tender. Actually went well with the complimentary bread.

Lure fries - thinner cut, crispy, and well seasoned. Supposedly they use lemony seasoning they usually flavor fish with.

Clam linguini - perfect balance of flavor, lightness, and health, with plenty of clams. Not too thick or heavy.

Service: Julissa was very friendly and welcoming to first timers and explained items on the menu well, including their local daily catch menu. We also sat by the back wall for more quiet & privacy, and she checked in on us at the right times and frequency without being overly attentive or having us talk mid-bite. 5 stars!

This was our favorite seafood spot during our 3 day santa barbara trip. Would definitely return!

My wife and I come here every time we visit Santa Barbara. My wife thinks the fish and chips are better than everywhere else. The fresh fish meals are always good. The service is friendly and the restaurant is clean and bright.

Def one of the best seafood places in SB are. Oysters from Morro Bay was super fresh. Other seafoods were amazing as well!

Great local spot with a nice atmosphere and consistently good food. The service is friendly and attentive, and the menu has great seafood options. The BBQ oysters are delicious, and the fresh sourdough bread is always a highlight. Definitely a solid place to come with family and friends.

I was quite impressed by Lure. The happy hour menu was great, lots of seating. The clam chowder was VERY good and the muscles were the best I’ve had in a long time. Our service was kindof weird and inattentive but the food and drinks were good. The oysters are massive. I’d definitely go back.

Amazing dishes! We took prawns, fish&chips and sand dabs and everything was simply amazing! The only thing I would add is espresso, but even without it the restaurant is one of the best in area!

Just discovered Lure's happy hour!

I am so Katelyn Petty the manger was very kind & beyond helpful in locating my friends ring he thought he lost in the restaurant!!! Customer service….stellar!!! Luke Sutton is also amazing, really appreciate him!!! Everyone there is great!! Thank you all so much!! I highly recommend eating here…..wonderful vibes & food, all around.

We chose this place based on a ChatGPT recommendation and were very happy with our choice.
It’s a perfect stop if you’re driving from Los Angeles to San Francisco through Santa Barbara — the restaurant is located right along Highway 101, very convenient.
The food was very tasty, the service was friendly, and everything was served very quickly.
Highly recommended to anyone traveling this route or visiting Santa Barbara!
