Does anyone *not* like mac-n-cheese? Just the thought of a salty, melty cheese over a bed of pasta makes me drool. I like how mac-n-cheese is served in a casual paper bowl here, with multiple options for unhealthy toppings. Yelp needs a drool emoji.

This is absolutely one of the finest restaurants in the region. Always when I visit this place I am highly pleased. They hold their high level service and the topmost level of meals they serve. You are always happy with this place. Warmly recommended.

I've been to this place twice and it does NOT disappoint! My favorite is the hot Cheetos sprinkled Mac n cheese. Can I say this is the ultimate TREAT YO SELF meal to exist!! I know a lot of people like to go here after going out and needing good comfort food but this place should be acceptable to go to anytime of the day!! I've been dreaming of the Mac n cheese I think it's time I go again!!

I would give a 0 star. Not open. Checked in at this place yesterday and today. Called yesterday, the lady on the phone said they will be open Saturday. I am here Saturday. And this spot is closed even though she said she would be open.

absolutely horrific experience at this place. the woman working was drunk out of her mind, unable to remember orders. it took 30+ minutes for her to make one mac and cheese bc she forgot about it. not to mention the entire time she was making food, she's touching her face, touching money, taking off her mask. absolutely disgusting in general, but especially during a pandemic. will never go back here

Customer service is great! Got the ultimate Mac and cheese. So bomb my boyfriend and I got the small size and ordered drinks from the bar Music Alley (it's next door). Definitely a good time!

After a fun night with friends or simply craving a cheesy meal, Mac and Cheese After Dark is a place to go to. The food is absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend "The Ultimate" as it's worth every dollar. I enjoyed every bite and felt that a small was filing for just one person. But it's also too small for two people, so I recommend to order two if you are sharing but try different things on the menu as well. The food is cooked fresh and you can see the worker making it in front of you. So you know you aren't eating mac and cheese out of a can or anything that would displease you. During the pandemic, I do wish they would enforce social distancing within their seating area and line since customers felt that they could be right by my shoulder unless I asked them to scoot away.

This location can be easily missed. It's a nice hole in the wall place. The Mac n cheese was tasteful and I highly recommend getting toppings. This makes a big difference on the experience there.

I was in the area after a Katchafire show and found MNCAD on yelp and I'm so glad that I did. It's a little window next to a bar/club thing. I ordered a large FRITO PIE MAC. Mac and cheese, Fritos, bacon, topped with hot Cheetos. Yes, please. It's definitely the perfect drunk food. Whoever is behind this creation......Thank you.

You seem to have made a big deal about being open tonight, which is very strange because you're not open tonight. The telephone number that you have on here leads to an answering machine for Whore Research. C'mon Mac-n-cheese, get your s*** together!!

This places rents out the kitchen of Velvet Jones, which I don't even think is a live venue anymore, much less open. The actual Velvet Jones wasn't open when I visited in June, but this delicious mac and cheese front was.The mac and cheese here is pretty decent. A fast food equivalent would be like El Pollo Loco's mac and cheese. The mac and cheese is best eaten here fresh like within 15 minutes, because otherwise the cheese gets weirdly gloopy/chunky in consistency rather than creamy/sticky. The noodles are pretty big and fall apart easily and the tater tots are fantastic (the vegetarian option has tater tots underneath the mac and cheese and omg). The build-your-own small starts at $6. I got mine just plain for $6 and thought it was pretty worth it.My friend ordered the vegetarian one without jalapenos. It normally comes with tomatoes, jalapenos, and basil, but they totally forgot the basil and we didn't realize until we got home (it was wrapped in foil to-go). The large was definitely a big size, but not sure if worth about $12. Would highly recommend this hole-in-the-wall (almost literally) to any mac and cheese lover with a night-time craving, though. Seems like tax is included in the listed price, which is a bonus.

I had to write a review because I have been wanting to try this place for a while now and was excited that they are open during this time. When I came by the lady working was so friendly and nice she deserves 5/5 stars!! Awesome customer service and so nice! The food was good and plentiful as well!
