I'm pretty sure that they are closed permanently. It is hard to say because they often leave to run errands and don't answer the phone. However, someone in the Independent says that they have closed don.
Wonderful little quaint, and comfortable Mediterranean food. Enjoyed it so very much. I had the lentil soup per a review I read on here and was very intrigued and enjoyed every bite with a little kick of jalapeño in it made me wanting more. I also enjoyed the chicken kabob with salad and humus. All well prepared and tasty. I will be back again.
Wonderful Greek and American Deli! Best place for a Gyro or a Tri-Tip sandwich! Well worth a try for something legendary to Santa Barbara.
Yanni's Greek & American Deli at Mackenzie Market is a reliable source of well done Mediterranean food in the Burbank area. I'd recommend coming if you're in the area.

Super friendly guy but disappointing experience. Ordered 4 Gyros and they all smelled rancid. I should have walked out when i saw the rotting vegetables in the deli counter. Sorry Janni, you're a friendly guy but what you served me was not ok.
It’s a interesting place to get Greek food. The owner is friendly. I don’t know how describe the location, but the food was good.

It's great give it a try best gyros in town
Had an awesome Gyro today from McKenzie market. You would never know they were open form the street unless you really paid attention. I was very impressed with the Gyro but the place is in serious need of cleaning and updating. The owner was very friendly, but it seriously looks like this place went out of business 20 years ago and is being used for storage. If you can get past that, then your all good.
They have the best gyros in town. Definitely a must.
