Italian ice just like at home (in Connecticut:)).
The Italian ice is good and well priced, this would be a five star review if they actually were open during posted hours. Twice now I’ve shown up and they’ve been closed in the middle of the afternoon, even though posted hours are 12-8

I am from New Jersey, and I am part Italian: This stuff is LEGIT! All the flavors we sampled were great, but the lemon Italian ice was as good as I’ve ever had and made me feel like a kid again. So grateful to have found Mangione’s.

The owners are the nicest people and the italian ice is top notch, our must-stop for dessert every time we are in town.

Nice people but it's not really Italian ice cream. It's sorbet. And their Mango sorbet is a crime against humanity. It tastes like the soap retirement homes would carry in the 70s. Rest was ok.

I still do not quite know what italian ice is, but I know I like it. This was a perfect size and refreshment on a warm day in Santa Barbara. I thought it was better than ice cream and full of flavor. I had mango with another flavor (cannot remember) recommended by the staff and it was a perfect combo. Highly recommend trying

Glad we stopped at this small business. Mango, creamsicle, strawberry, and lemon flavors were great and super budget friendly. Refreshing for summer and various sizes available. Friendly service.

We came here twice during our Santa Barbara trip. Everyone is super nice and the prices are very good. Highly recommend getting the mango flavor!!
