Tried calling today to ask if they were still doing subs, and the worker hung up the phone on me!! I thought maybe the call dropped, so I called him back. After asking again, he rudely interrupted me to tell me “we are Mesa pizza company”. I tried explaining I just wanted to know if the subs are still available and then he yelled “NO” and hung up the phone again!! I tried calling back a third time and he once more hung up once he recognized my voice. It wasn’t until I called back and spoke in Spanish that he actually took the time to respond to me rather than just hanging up the phone. Extremely rude of him, especially considering I was not rude in the slightest, simply inquiring about something that used to be on the menu. I used to love coming here and getting food, but that complete and utter disregard for customer service has really ruined my memory of this place. I’ll be taking my money elsewhere.

UPDATE: The owner was super kind and accommodating, and apologized personally. The worker may not have been kind, but the owner was exceptional in apologizing and granting me the service I remember.

Pizza was undercooked. Vegetables were crunchy.
Wings had next to no Buffalo sauce on them. There is absolutely no heat on the wings.
Shouldn't call them Buffalo Wings.
Would not recommend eating her.

I used to LOVE coming to this place as a kid with my mom and ordering the Turkey sub (truly the best sandwich ever). I just got word they took off all sandwiches and pastas from the menu and was so sad! I had my husband call to try and get the ingredients so we could possibly make it ourselves. After he called the first time, a man picked the phone up to which my husband asked if they were still doing sandwiches. Without any explanation, the man hangs up the phone. We assumed it was a disconnect because there’s no way he hung up the phone on a client right? We called back to which the man answered and screamed “NO!” into the phone and hung up again. I called myself and got the same reaction. We were baffled at this point and wondered if there was a language barrier so my husband called back and spoke to him in Spanish this time to which we received the same treatment. I am honestly appalled at the downfall of this place regarding food and service. Apparently we aren’t the first group of people that have experienced this exact situation. I will not be returning here again. Mesa Pizza Company I am truly disappointed in the place you’ve become.

$22-23 for a medium pizza when down the street the same thing is $7.99. Not much better than cheap chain pizza. Staff and management/owners unresponsive to issues with quality of food (burnt) and requests to make a bad order right. I do not recommend this business.

6 years later and this is still some of the best pizza I've ever had in my life. The White Chicken Pizza is sooo flavorful, packed with toppings, and the ingredients just taste fresh and high quality. I built my own for Pizza #2 with pepperoni, garlic, ricotta, and black olives. Me and my family couldn't decide which pizza was better, but regardless they were both outstanding. The homemade ranch is just as delicious as I remember too.Now the employees are just as pivotal to the charm and success of Mesa Pizza as the food itself. They're always fairly busy in the evenings (which is a great sign...) and the staff maintains their poise, professionalism, and kindness. Hats off to Jesus for making every guest feel like a valued customer. The location itself is in a cute area of Santa Barbara with plenty of other stores and scenery to check out nearby. Will always support this place!!!

Good food. Long waits.

Respectable pizza with a more Italian flavor profile that might not suit everyone's tastes. Staff are very friendly and the place is inviting. Good location up on the Mesa.

Kid-friendliness: Kids should be no problem here.

Parking: Free but small parking lot in a busy strip mall. Some street parking also available nearby.

I read a few reviews. One of the negative reviews said the pizza was too salty. I like salty. But they were right. This pizza is way too salty. I got the Long Island Special and the seasoning is so salty and overpowering you don’t even taste the fresh basil or garlic. I stopped on my send small slice and deemed not worth eating. Disappointing.
