Absolutely delicious ice cream, generous portions, clean shop and friendly service with a smile. Tiny parking lot and high prices, but good for a special treat.

Nice staff. Love that they have both ice cream and frozen yogurt. Portions were very large. Have a parking lot, which is a bonus.

The real star of Santa Barbara! This quaint little spot is where flavors erupt via mouth. The staff is so nice and cosigns every odd concoction I come up with! The point system makes it easy to save money AND live better, (but its not Walmart)! If you're visiting, DEFINITELY stop by for a cone.

These guys are really lame. Placed an order online and they were out of the product but still charged me and was told it was my responsibility to get a refund from their vendor.

Amazing ice cream!!! It's a very small place and the wait was a little long but the staff work hard and are kind and polite and smiling. Unfortunately I don't live in the area because I would be coming here every week. Price-wise it's on par with cold stone but I would say it's just as delicious

This place used to be a McConnell’s shop but the owners had some sort of discrepancy with the company so they had to change the name. The McConnells ice cream they serve is excellent, and everything else is still the same. I would’ve given 5 stars except I was a little shocked that one scoop of ice cream was over $7.00. The store is in a neighborhood, not in a tourist area of Santa Barbara, they probably shouldn’t be charging tourist type prices. IMHO

For many years when I come to Santa Barbara, it's our "thing" to get ice cream ?

Mission Street Ice Cream exceeded my expectations with their delightful array of flavors and impeccable service. The moment I stepped in, the inviting aroma of freshly made waffle cones greeted me. The staff's warm and friendly demeanor made the experience even more enjoyable. As for the ice cream, each scoop was a burst of rich, creamy goodness. The variety of unique flavors showcased the craftsmanship behind their creations. From classic favorites to inventive combinations, Mission Street Ice Cream has mastered the art of satisfying sweet cravings. A must-visit for any ice cream enthusiast!

Do you make chocolate malts? I've had to swear off impulse stops at the finest ice cream outlet in Santa Barbara. There used to be Swensens on State the were second. I also miss A&W root beer floats. It had to be real vanilla ice cream and genuine A&W root beer on tap; so much better than the cans o bottles. McConnells. wass their name prior a messy divorce (LOL). It is still sold on State Street. I've no idea if it's the same ice cream or not, but the staff on De la Vina are outstanding. Pistachio, peppermint, and mint chocolate chip Really Great. I wish they made an egg nog at Christmas. No pumpkin spice, please. They really should have a Do Not Sell to list for sugar addicts that get their fix at Mission Street Ice Cream. I'd be on that list. I used to go into various stores and buy several pints of pistachio gelato. Perhaps you could try selling gelatos as well. Run a contest to rename your store from the nondescript Mission Street, or Mission Street Ice Cream Fix, or Just The Fix. For now, I'm on the Ice Cream Wagon, but no bets on the duration of my sugar sobriety. Be seeing you soon.
