I can’t express in words how much I. Words how horrible this place is. Aside from the service being non-existent, which I will get to in a bit. Most every wine and food item we asked for they did not have, even after us asking if there was anything not available on the menu. We were also the only table here. And it took forever for us to get any order in at all. On top of that. The noise from the Granada has been unbearable and mixed poorly. They really need to use IATSE employees for that. Which they are not

Food was good but service was poor. People next to sat down after us were served before and left by the time our meal finally arrived. Had to get up numerous times to get the attention of the wait staff, had to ask numerous times for a glass of water and a dessert menu. All Mollie offered us when we complained were some stale cookies. Going to Da'Cario next time I'm going to have Italian food.

Cold outside and couldn’t get heater to work. Terrible trying to get our money from paying bill. Not a great experience. Wouldn’t go there again.

My wife and I are visiting fromPhiladelphia. I ordered the rigatoni Alamacuciana ( sp) it is a Roman dish that is hard to find. It was better than the one we ate in Rome. It was so good I had to order another one as I do t know when we would ever be back. My wife got the spaghetti fruit di marre.and it was great as well. Ambiance was phenomenal. We sat outside with the heater on. Music played from the piano bar next store. Just a perfect night. Thanks for making our 10year anniversary so special.

Always love the quality of the food and service at Mollies. An even better treat is when Mollie is in the restaurant in person, and she was last night making for a most memorable experience.

Very nice restaurant on a busy section of State Street. The menu of a good selections of dishes; however, the wine are on the expensive side. Food was delicious and generous portions. Service was a little slow as they were under staff.

My scampi’s pasta was a bit chewy, cold. Not great. Good ceasar. Great location, in the heart of it all on state street. Food was ok. Expensive for the level of quality.

Wonderful Service and great food! Carlos our server stopped what he was doing to take our reservation and was a terrific waiter to boot!

Mollie's specializes in offering classic Italian dishes done classically. The food was very good, but not the best we've had in Santa Barbara. The service, unfortunately, was slow; we had to ask more than once for more water. A big plus was the noise level -- quiet enough to have an enjoyable conversation speaking normally. I'm glad that we went once, but will probably not return.

Sat outdoors so can't comment on ambience. I believe they had exactly one waiter serving the entire place for a Saturday night. We sat for 25 mins before he came to even take our drink order. No joke. I'd never go there again. Food was fine but nothing special and it shouldn't take 2 hours for 3 people to eat a simple meal (no apps, no dessert).

Mollie's relocated to this location on State street from Montecito. Same recipes. They have a great reputation, as the namesake founder has received acclaim for cooking for Oprah, Obama, the White House, etc. Fresh pasta dishes all around was delicious. Outdoor setting was nice on State street. Good dusk ambiance and people watching. Fun & relaxing dinner. Service was just a bit off the night we were there - perhaps due to Covid short-staffing. Nice but extremely slow. Had to remind wait staff multiple times on multiple occasions about forgotten drinks, bread, no silverware, water, etc. Would give them another shot though. They can do better.
