I am so happy I discovered this little frozen yogurt joint! It's located inside the same building as Tyger Tyger, and although I've never tried the food I think I might now! I got the ube flavored frozen yogurt with fruity pebbles. It was really yummy and not too sweet. This frozen yogurt seems to be better quality than other chain frozen yogurts, so the higher price makes sense. They had other flavors including thai tea and black sesame. Super nice staff and lovely aesthetic inside.

Wanted to try their ice cream but was disappointed due to their fish cone machine being broken. Very sad.

Delicious organic soft serve ice cream. I tried half ube, half green tea. A delight.

Went there on a recommendation but when we got there, they only had 1 flavor and there wasn't anyone working the counter. It was only 7pm. Very disappointed

My friends and I were really excited to try this place because their website advertised taiyaki, but unfortunately when we got there we were told it was discontinued. So, if you want to go for that be aware. There was also only two flavors avaliable from what was advertised online, but the flavors were good so that was a plus! I got the ube which was really creamy and had a pronounced flavor! I just wish they made it more known that they discontinued the taiyaki.

Was so surprised to find out that there's a taiyaki store in Santa Barbara now! This place was a bit hidden as it is inside of another restaurant. I got the Mango Sticky Rice ice cream with taiyaki cone and it was amazing. Will be back to try the other flavors next time. Only wish they had opened earlier back when I was still at UCSB.

Was looking for a place for dessert after dinner and found this gem! Located on the left side once you go inside. There's three businesses at this place. A coffee shop called Dart, MonkeyShine, and Tyger Tyger, a restaurant. This place is such a cute area for a date. I was a bit disappointed because I thought they had those taiyaki (fish cones) since there were pictures of those on their Yelp but I guess it was only seasonal items. However I still very much enjoyed their ice cream. They have ube, jasmine flower, pandan, and their flavor of the day which was squash. I got the jasmine flower with matcha powder on top. It was so good! Will come back again!

Service was great food was good . For a quick bite monkeyshine is the place to be. Coffee and dessert conveniently located under one roof . Ambiance is chill lending to a quiet relaxed vibe . When in Santa Barbara to enjoy a delicious treat swing by and entice your taste buds.
Come for the ice cream, stay for the squishy fish-shaped ice cream cones.

They were out of 2 flavors tonight so I had to contend between coconut (blech) or red bean. Red bean seemed less offensive and while.not my first choice, it didn't taste like red bean and was actually quite delicious. I added sesame brittle and a piping hot and fresh taiyaki andmy night was made.

Love, love, LOVE this place! My best friend and I decided to head to SB for the day and ended up here. The entire building is aesthetically pleasing and the vibe is super chill as well! We had one cup of Vietnamese Coffee and a Taiyaki cone with Pandan Vanilla, trust me they were both delicious! The portion sizes we're well worth the price as well! 10/10 will be stopping by next time I'm in SB. Also, the bathrooms were to die for, absolutely adorable!
