First time here, couldn't have picked a better place for first time to Santa Barbara. Food was exceptionally fresh, unique and loaded with flavor. Service and ambiance was perfect also. This place really has their act together. Well run operation and serving food on time and for a decent price.
We've been coming to Opal for years. The food is always good as is the ambience. This time however the service was very strange. She seemed like she didn't want to be there at all. Maybe she was having a bad night, our whole table noticed it though. We also had several starters and entees and got no bread. Maybe petty but every other table had a bread basket.
We are there almost every week. I think that itself says something about the restaurant. The hosts are always welcoming and warm. Food and wine selection both are great. We always enjoy being there!
