Sandwiches are amazing. Def one of best spots in sb for good quality deli sandwiches/ salads. Ham and Swiss is amazing! Everyone that works there is also always super sweet and nice while I am there. Check it out !

I never leave reviews but this sandwich was AMAZING! I am on a road trip and my bf and I really wanted sandwiches so we randomly came here after leaving another shop Bec I was on a hunt for sundried tomatoes (my favorite). Anyways SOOO GOOD I got the roast turkey sandwich I think and added sun died tomatoes and goat cheese and died I was in love.

2 issues! 1) Panino does not offer panini sandwiches??? Lol 2) Complimentary SB tap water. YUCK!!! C'mon, have the decency and upgrade your patrons even to a Brita water filtering. The cashier was kind. Therefore, Panino earned the extra star.

Heard good things about Panino. Went for lunch. The baguette was so tough it was difficult to eat the sandwich. The curry chicken salad had more apple than chicken. The broccoli cheese soup was inedible. $51 for two sandwiches, a cup of soup and two cans of coke. Completely ridiculous. Absolutely do not recommend.

I wish I could leave 1/2 stars. I would give a 4.5. Person at the counter was really nice. Let my super picky daughter know she could make her own sandwich rather than subtracting everything from a sandwich on the menu lol I wasn't sure what to expect. Ham and cheese? Sounds pretty basic. This sandwich was not basic. Ham, yes. Swiss yes. Focaccia yum. I guess I was expecting mayo and mustard? But honey? I was not expecting that. And it was so good. Soooo pleasantly surprised. The plates were cute too. The chairs were a little uncomfy, but that's a me thing. Only thing for me, is I would prefer a non-kettle chip. They tear up my mouth lol Edit: 2 weeks later, and I'm still thinking about this sandwich.

Best sandwich in town. Fresh, clean food that is always nicely wrapped and never a sloppy mess as many other shops can take a lesson from!

I got the #12 and the wonderful little lady at the counter, Gracie, suggested I swap out the chicken for turkey and OMG that was the move! Gracie was so friendly, helpful, and nice and the sandwich was delicious! I will definitely be back! Thank you Gracie and Panino! AND the Panino branded water bottles are so cool!

We got bugs in our sandwich's. I work for a doctors office and we had a rep pick up some lunch for us. I called the SB location to make them aware and spoke with Wendy who put me on hold multiple times trying to get advice from he manager I imagine. Stated it was "normal" since the lettuce they use is organic and has no preservatives. You still need to wash vegetables even if they are organic!!!! I didn't know ORGANIC meant enjoy the bugs!!! She stated her Manager Jessie would give me a call back. I'm sorry but even on my busiest of days as a restaurant assistant manager I wold have never ignored a customer the way I was ignored today. It has been more then 3 Hrs since my call and I have still have not gotten a call back. It is very embarrassing to know you are ok with serving insects. We will never order or recommend anyone to your business.

Favorite sandwich in Santa Barbara!! I love the turkey & brie or the curried chicken salad. But you can't go wrong here!

While visiting Santa Barbara's State street we were looking for a late lunch place and discovered Panino. We were looking forward to some warm toasty sandwiches. So we ordered a few. First of all a note for our dear vegetarian friends - this place has some awesome vegetarian sandwiches. We ordered Caprese and English Cotswolt and Tomato along with Chicken and Red Peppers with Provolone. Sandwiches looked great but we had a big surprise/ realization that none of them were toasted like paninis. This is Panino so it's just regular sandwich. Which was a bit disappointing because most of these would taste great when grilled. Not sure if it's a Santa Barbara thing, but portions in this town are huge. We could not finish a full sandwich. Focaccia was great. Fresh mozzarella in Caprese was soft and tasty. But the best part was the Cotswolt Cheese. We absolutely loved that cheese. And they load up the sandwich with it. A meal of sandwich, chips and soda would make it a bit on an expensive side but it's very tasty. I wish they grilled some of those sandwiches. Try it out. It's located near State street and overlooking a Spanish style old church. It was a good lunch.

Food was delicious! Definitely will come back here every time I'm in town. A bit on the pricier side but definitely delicious. Service was OK. I came in and placed a takeout order, two young white girls and an older Mexican woman were in the shop at the time. The young girls were running the register and making the sandwiches and the older woman was back of house, prepping ingredients and washing dishes. I only interacted with the young ladies. Their service was minimal, and i never felt like they gave me much attention while placing my order since they kept gossiping and talking to each other while I placed my order. I tipped them generously... mostly because when it was my turn to select the tip on the display the register pointed at the screen, and instead of turning around and playing it off, she stood there watching me and what I did. Quite rude, and honestly this is why I'm not giving this place 5 stars. Staff need to work on their customer service. Overall, good food, ok prices, kind of poor service.

Great fresh food with healthy options and some more indulgent. Simple food for a high price but servings are large enough to split between 2. Recommend the chicken salad, salad. Service is suitable for being a sandwich shop and has a relaxed ambiance. UPDATE: Short brown haired girl named me 'IDFK' when I picked up my order...she gave such terrible service. As someone who eats here regularly she was so short and seemed very aggravated by me just ordering. 0 stars for her personally.
