O man was this disappointing. Just moved into the neighborhood and wanted pizza while we unpacked. They were quick with pizza which was great. We ordered sausage and pepperoni. When we got it home it was clearly ground beef, not the end of the world. The pizza was terrible. The dough was like cardboard, the cheese was some waxy concoction and I have never seen so much grease on a pizza in my life. We ordered a large and none of us finished the first slice. We will be finding another pizza place.

Ever since my boyfriend and I moved to SB from NYC, we've been craving a decent slice of authentic pizza. Unfortunately, SB is lacking in pizza assortment and I mainly see chains around. Pizza Guru had great reviews, so we decided to give it a shot. $11 for a tiny personal pizza is not great, considering a giant slice of pizza would run you about $4 on the East Coast. Anyway, I'm clearly biased, but this place has super friendly employees (not something you'll find in NY!) and decent pizza. What was lacking for me was the actual base of the pizza, of course the toppings were good (add more toppings on your pizzas!) but the actual pizza itself was a bit soggy and the cheese was bland. I'd give this place another shot but I'm not going to be craving it anytime soon.

Great and innovative pizzas. Tried the Tri Tip pizza and was pleasantly surprised.

I would've given 5 stars 6 years ago, but things have changed since I was last here. I'm glad they still have the Warm Goat Cheese Salad, but the cheese was so small this time, it was gone in a second. I see they still use locally grown, good qualities veggies and healthy ingredients.

We were excited about this place as we need vegan and GF options but it was really bad food. Salad was not fresh. We left kind of grossed out unfortunately :(

The Buffalo chicken pizza is the best. Fresh ingredients and dough. Just don't call it a Buffalo chicken pizza, the staff will firmly correct you that it's the "buff chick" pizza. LoL

We got 2 large pizzas with smoked mozzarella, pepperoni and bacon -- so good and so satisfying!
