This place is absolutely disgusting. There's a girl in a dirty blue Miami t-shirt at the counter. There were no fountain drinks, and the cooler was full of something that looked like somebody bought it from their refrigerator at home. There was a tattooed and very scary man on the grill, and a large round woman filling the orders.nWhew! Kind'a scary atmosphere and took 20 minutes to NOT fill the order.

If you're in the mood for some delicious and healthy Mexican fast food, then you won't be disappointed with this restaurant. They specialize in serving Mexican-style Fire-grilled Chicken that is made fresh on the grill every day. The menu is diverse and offers a range of options, including tacos, salad bowls, quesadillas, salsa, and guacamole. You can taste the difference in the food, which is satisfying and filling without feeling heavy. The portions are just right, making it a great option for a quick lunch or dinner. They serve Halal food here as well. Recommended!

This place needs to be inspected by the health inspector again I just ordered tacos and chips with guacamole the guacamole was brown the lady who is the owners wife dropped old chips in the grease too make them hot not to mention there's over 50 pieces of chicken on the grill I promise you they are old, they don't even have business like that. They also fired all the Hispanic works that was there when it was El pollo loco. Not to mention my Travis tacos was cold. All the five star reviews about this place are fake. This place has gone down hill.Shut this place down please....#bringbackelpolloloco

Ordered Briyani, 2 chicken pieces with the side of rice & fries. All for $24It is definitely a decent halal briyani you can find on a road trip at SB. Plenty of meat and rice. Chicken pieces I had higher expectations from it.The owner was very kind and accomadting

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of snacks and kind friendly options

We ordered to go. They didn't take cash, card only because they didn't have change. I had to ask for napkins, which i did after my husband noticed there were no napkins in the bag. We received three of them. When we got to the park we found no forks or knives. The coleslaw was bland, mostly cabbage and some dressing. Chicken was tough and mostly dry but tasted good once you sorted for the eatable meat. All in all we give this place a 2 because the drinks were good because they were cans drinks. BLack beans were good even though we had to eat the liquidy beans with our fingers. We gave this place a chance but won't be returning. I wouldn't recommend this establishment.

Rico. But, More expensive than former Pollo Loco. One of us just wanted bean burritos which they said they could do. They were rice burritos with a few beans mixed in. Wait time was 20 minutes and I was 3rd in line. Not busy, so not sure what that was about. All that being said, they are a new business I wish well.

Parking: A bit tight if other businesses are busy. Also, saw no disability parking.

Not good. I wanted a salad but didn't want the salsa crap on it. What I got was watery lettuce and two (2) small slices of avocado! That's it! Nothing else! The "dressing" was bland. It was awful.

I loved the El Pollo Loco that this replaced. And I would come here ALL the time except for 2 things: 1) apparently you can no longer order breast/white chicken pieces, 2) the salsas are no longer free and could literally double the cost of my meal.

My review will be about the south Asian food as that is what I had. Very authentic taste just like you would get in Northern India or Pakistan (I have been lived in the former) . The lady at the counter was also kind and even gave us tea free of charge.

We were visiting Santa Barbara. Decided to stop here for lunch. The food was horrible. The restaurant has an identity crisis. The food was old and tasteless. It's unfortunate that the restaurant is in this situation. It looks like the owners are not able to generate enough revenue to keep the ingredients fresh. The chicken was for sure old as it was leathery.

I have been here a few times and we are very happy with the quality, temperature, and time it takes for them to put our order together. We usually do a meal combo and they suggest other add ons. Last time we ordered a side of their chicken soup, and it was delicious! It had veggies, chicken and was still hot when we got home. Will definitely come back and keep recommending Pueblo Pollo!

If you order and item and the restaurant is out of that item, they wait to tell you that they replaced the item with something else at their own discretion, after you’ve paid, or in another instance, they didn’t even tell us that they had replaced the item until we got home and realized the order was incorrect. Upon calling them they said they were out of that particular item so they gave us what they thought we would like. This is the 3rd time that it’s happened and unfortunately I cannot trust them anymore. If they are that desperate for the sale maybe they’re desperate enough to use lower quality or even expired ingredients.

It was interesting and the service was good. The chicken was well cooked and was tasty.

The only thing real in my over price $14 dollar chicken nachos was the old chicken breast , when I asked for dark meat. Beans & avocado were also real. But the can cheese sauce, well not worth the price. I arrived there thinking it was pollo loco but to my surprise I walked into a dark cave with no lighting but I figured I'd give a try. I was recommended a $5 order of nachos which I thought that what I got, but figured I got what paid for? I was better off at Taco bell. Never again, for the price I should've gone to chicken ranch

Go for the Pakistani menu. I can’t speak to the Mexican food, but we went today and it’s excellent. There’s a board off to the side with the menu. Ask them for recommendations! The couple running the place are lovely. We got the chicken karhai which is very spicy and flavorful- fall of the bone chicken, lots of ginger. We also got a vegetarian plate with Chana and curry spiced vegetables. Naan to scoop everything into our faces with. So delicious!
