We are not vegan but our son is. He wanted to go for his birthday. The menu did not disappoint the non-vegans. I took half my meal home as did my wife and had the rest for breakfast the next morning. Big portions.

The food tastes great and they definitely give you enough to fill you up. It wasn’t very busy going for lunch. They have a good brunch menu, but no lunch menu. I’m glad to have another vegan restaurant in town!

If you’re in the mood for fake meat, Rascal’s has it all; including daring chicken which I haven’t seen before at restaurant but worked really well in the caesar salad.Crunchwrap was pretty good but wish you could customize the meat inside.Guacamole tasted very fresh but little under salted imo and there wasn’t any salt at the table.Definitely would go back!

My husband and I found this place by accident one day and wanted to try it out for a long time. Today we finally got the chance and are really happy with the whole experience. Great mexican vegan cuisine with a modern and fun twist! Really unique and authentic food! We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic tacos, crunchwrap, and chanterelle tostada. We've eaten at Rascal's before they moved and they were great but now they are better than ever.
Top notch tacos (vegan to boot). The mushroom chimichuri was unexpected and amazing. The Baja taco was also a standout, as was the spicy esquires.Dietary restrictions: Everything is vegan

This place is fantastic! Tried most of the tacos and a burrito. Salsas are delicious. Habanero has the right kick and flavor. Special shout out to the chimichuri mushrooms and Baja cauliflower. Non-vegans wouldn't be sad to try any of these dishes either. Worth the price

Two polarizing reviews in one:The bad: Service was sub-par. Wouldn’t budge $1 on a food substitution error. Staff didn’t check on us. I saw the tattooed cook helping a guest when the two front staff couldn’t figure out what to do (seemed like he cared :))The good: The food was the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in California. I had a chorizo torta (9/10) wife had mushroom burrito bowl (10/10), freshly made chips with multiple salsa (10/10), mom had burrito with Impossible picadillo (7-8/10), and we also shared the esquites (9/10). Presentations were excellent, sizes were too great for my 240lb frame to eat.Atmosphere was above average; Clean; not overly crowded feeling, though full; ample, soft lighting, menus easy to read and not overwhelming. Will go back for sure but next time I may order to-go.

This is a highly rated vegan Mexican restaurant in Santa Barbara. We were entourage from Bay Area and looking for a vegan place to eat. The restaurant owner was very friendly. We arrived just a few minutes before their close time. We explained that we are coming from far and we’re really hoping to eat there..and they were generous to accommodate us. They do brunch until 1:00 pm and then reopen at 5 for dinner. The brunch menu items were quite filling and delicious to be our lunch. We had French toast, breakfast burritos and scrambled tofu bowl. All the items were super flavorful and rich and filling for our family of four. I have attached the brunch menu and pictures of our meals to this review. Super happy with this find. Highly recommend you to eat here is you are around Santa BarbaraVegetarian options: Complete vegan place so safe for vegetarians.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and plant based food only.Parking: The street has bunch of restaurants and ample parking availableKid-friendliness: They had kids friendly customization available
