Recipes Bakery is a place that makes you feel right at home when you walk in. Their staff is very polite and do a good job of customer service. Their blueberry scones and chocolate chip cookies were my favorite items that are served there!

What a little treasure! I have passed by this little cafe/bakery many times before--each time telling myself to get in there soon. Finally after six years living in town, I made it! The inside feels like you’re in someone’s cottage with antiques and Australian touches here and there. Not a surprise given the adorable Victorian home it’s housed in. I was greeted by the owner himself who was friendly and helpful with all my newbie questions. This business is Australian—uh huh, I said it right; full on Aussie. Completely unexpected…I gotta say. Get your Flat White here! Their vanilla syrup is made in house and I highly recommend it too. They offer a variety of fresh, homemade pastries. I ordered the banana bread which had a nice balance of sweet and savory, plus it was warmed up on a griddle. Just as Nana would do! I know they are known for their cinnamon rolls so I will definitely be back to try one when my sweet tooth kicks in. The quiches were also sold out when I came in and at high-demand. One gal said their quiche is the best in town! A bold statement.Given that the Holidays are coming up quickly, it’s also worth mentioning that they have a sign offering their handmade pies for purchase. I plan to preorder two for when we host our family Thanksgiving this year. Flavors and selections are endless (pumpkin, apple, berries, and the list goes on).Hooroo mate!

Lovely atmosphere and delicious pancakes!
I love cinnamon rolls so much and this cinnamon roll is the best I have had. The atmosphere of this bakery is laid back. The gentleman that took my order was friendly and brought a warmth about his shop that was comforting. Highly recommend going here and if you don't you are truly missing out on a true gem.
Cinnamon rolls were the bomb and the service was super friendly!!
Wow! We stopped by to check this place out. Ordered two cinnamon rolls "amazing", a gluten free banana muffin "amazing" and a latte woth about 3 inches of foam! They way it should be, I highly recommend this place.
I live in Az & wanted to send a cake to a friend in Santa Barbara. This was the first place I called on my google search & I was not disappointed. Donald was incredibly pleasant and made the entire process delightfully easy. I ordered my cake, gave my friends address, added a tip & now just wait for the delivery! It’s difficult to find places that make a carrot cake, I was ecstatic to find out that they made this flavor.
It's a really cute shop, and the blueberry muffin was the best we've ever had. Worth the small detour off of State St.

This place is sooo yummy and quaint. Good for solo, date or group get together. Dog friendly. Love coming here but the portions are a little small for the price point.
The cinnamon buns are incredible!! Coffee was great too. Very friendly staff. Definitely worth stopping by for a bite. A few parking spots and a one way street.
Had the eggs with avo and mushrooms with sourdough toast which was delicious. The coffee was only OK.
One of those spots that’s so good I have to limit my intake ha. Workers are great & friendly, coffee is super tasty (I drink mine black, my lady gets iced lattes) the scones, muffins and all their other goodies are out of this world…. By far My favorite spot In town
Their store hours are not accurate online. They close at 1 pm now because of the pandemic.
