Great food. But the Milpas traffic is loud and persistent, including very annoying subwoofer bass coming from who knows where. I couldn't wait to leave, even though we sat at one of the quieter side tables .Next time, we'll take it to go.

Service was good. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast. Small no frills restaurant.
Rosales has been my go to place for lunch when passing thru Santa Barbara. For several years now I have had nothing but great food at reasonable prices but my stop there yesterday was not a good one. Service was passable and the prices were OK but it was the food that has changed. Just didn't seem to be anything special. My wife ordered the fish taco, it was underwhelming. I had the chilli verde plate. Again, just seemed very ordinary. The kicker was that I have dysentery all night and continuing today after eating their food. I really hate to leave a bad review on this place but I feel it is pretty bad when you get sick eating there.

Love it- easy low key and friendly service! I actually love that we got to order our food at the counter- so quick! The gal was really nice, handed us free chips and cups for the salsa bar which included habanero salsa, spicy avocado salsa, and green thick salsa plus limes and lemons, onions and cilantro. We got the huevos- so good, corn tortillas or flour tortillas on the side with one corn tortilla, eggs over easy, runny delicious refried beans and red rice- big portion - have enough for a second meal! The coffee was good too and the patio is dog friendly! They had a grill on the patio too, intriguing

Yea this is one of my favorite Mexican places in the world. The burritos are good as heck and taste like a cake. Family owned and I’ve never had a bad meal here in the 6 years I’ve lived in SB. Definitely eat here.

The eggs rancheros breakfast is my favorite. I would like them to have their own delivery. The service would be excellent.

Real good food. My wife had the cheese and jalapeño tamales, They were delicious. The green chilaqulies were tasty. The Salsa variety is excellent, spicy but enjoyable
Food taste good but portions are small especially with the high prices. I felt that the chicken fajita dish was lacking enough chicken.

BEWARE! DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY!! Their site and yelp page make provide the impression that the restaurant will honor the orders placed, THEY DO NOT. I ordered a $30 chimichanga and waited 2 hours. Called them and was told that they aren't responsible for the drivers that deliver. They gave me the drivers name and number, Sergio, he hung up on me and blocked my calls. Never got my food. I called the Restaurant and offered to drive down and pick up the Chimi, but am not gonna pay another $30. So they called the manager, Eric Rosalo, and he told them that the restaurant would not honor the order because my issue was with the Driver. Disappointing first experience with this place.

Easily the best menudo in town, a bit pricey but honestly I don't mind it's very good ... Wish the customer service from the girls at the register was better but the guys & cooks always have a smile on their faces ..

Long and the short of it - the best Mexican food in town - So good and worth your time. Easy to get to and parking available which is hard to find in SB sometimes. Love that you can order @ the counter, staff gave great recco on the chilaquiles and sent us to a table with chips and salsa. If you're looking for something with tons of flavor at a great price with a local feel and kind people, stop looking and head here.
