Sushi was just ok. Staff was nice but took forever to take our orders and forgot parts of our order. A little loud, but cool setting. Crazy overpriced for what it is. Small menu selection that you can't find online. Underwhelming and won't go back.

The uni and yellow tail sashimi were stellar. While it was my first time at this restaurant, I had previously visited Angel Oak and can say that the experience was a bit lack luster. Albeit stunning grounds, the dining experience was not what I would expect from a Ritz Carlton. Our server was attentive and helped us celebrate our anniversary. I don't anticipate returning immediately but it was a pleasant meal nonetheless.

Unforgettable

Exceptional food and service overlooking the Pacific Ocean. ThePeruvian inspired dishes are fresh and exciting and the rolls clearly contain the best ingredients. We celebrated my birthday, and our waiter kindly brought us each a glass of Champagne and a sushi "dessert". This is not a restaurant for anyone on a tight budget but it's definitely a "treat" occasion.

I was super excited about the restaurant and did expect a high quality sushi. However, I can frankly admit that I have had better sushi's in mid-low tier restaurants. It was eatable but definitely not the money's worth. Maybe it was a batch issue. The restaurant ambiance and servers interest were super nice though. Thank you for being very kind and helpful to those.

July 9, 2024 - we stayed at the Ritz Carlton Bacara for two nights during our vacation driving down the PCH from Oregon to San Diego. Our dining experience at San Setto did not disappoint. The views are spectacular and the service was attentive and friendly. We brought our own wine from our Napa Valley stop at Caymus Vineyards and they were very accommodating opening and pouring our 50th Anniversary Cabernet Sauvignon. All the dishes we ordered were very flavourful and the pace our evening was relaxed yet attentive. Thank you.

For a Ritz restaurant this was not up to par. The hotel needs to up their standard on this Sushi restaurant.

Poor service and bad food. Steak was sent back 4x. Chef doesn't know how to make a steak med rare. Sushi nothing special. Limited menu had to ask for silverware, soy sauce and ginger. Forgot our drinks and dessert order. Don't go eat here.

Very expensive >$200 for a couple no alcohol. Service quite inexperienced when considering property and price. Sushi is “ok” but not remarkable. $20 parking added insult to the whole thing. Would not go again.

Convenient walking right from hotel room at The Ritz Bacara. Beautiful restaurant and awesome views. Very friendly and nice. Wait staff slow, brought us warm water, when we asked for ice, got it after three requests. Requested diet cokes three times. Food was very good, would have liked a bit more selection on sushi rolls. Overall a great place, as long as your patient you’ll enjoy the vibe the view and the food.

We've been here a few times when staying at Bacara and the food has been consistently amazing. Service fell back a little this time, but there was a lot going on and it wouldn't keep us from coming back.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Menu wasn't like a standard sushi restaurant. A little more limited. But food was good overall. View was beautiful and nice to eat on the outside patio. Had to valet and pay to park which was a downside.

Lisa at San Setto was the absolute sweetest! The Santa Barbara Roll was perhaps the best sushi I've ever had, and the overall ambiance was top notch. We scheduled this last minute and didn't expect such an incredible experience, but we're so happy it happened! Definitely recommend.

If you're staying at the RC Bacara, this spot should be on your list. Drinks were great and maki rolls were large and very fresh. Enjoyable experience with very friendly staff!
