Sandbar was a blast — good food and fun times

The Birria was really tender and juicy. Perfect to eat after walking 30,000 steps

The vibes of the place were quite fun also with tons of baddies having a good time in the dance area also

Overall a great pit stop in your Santa Barbara frolicking festivities

They charge extra. The margarita with mint was $18!!! $1 extra for 2 leaves of mint. The menu doesn’t reflect the real price.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely amazing experience!
The food was outstanding — I ordered the Fajita Salad with Filet Mignon, and it was absolutely delicious. I loved that it was loaded with fresh, raw vegetables, which is exactly what I always look for. Everything was flavorful and beautifully prepared.

The atmosphere was fantastic, and I really appreciated that they were open late when most other restaurants were already closing. The bartender TJ was phenomenal — friendly, professional, and incredibly hardworking. I did notice he seemed to be juggling a lot while another staff member appeared to have it a bit easier, but TJ handled everything with such grace and efficiency. This restaurant is truly lucky to have him. I can’t wait to come back and tip him well next time!

I also appreciate management for taking the time to discuss a concern I had, which ended up being a misunderstanding on my part. Thank you all again for the great food, excellent service, and positive energy. 🌮🥗🍸🌿

The worst and most expensive burger I've ever had. 2 broiled patties, a little mayo and 3 thin pickles with cold fries. Disgusting. I should've take a picture.
By the way: you should have extra shirts for your staff. Sofia had 2 big stains on her shirt. That doesn't look good nor clean at all.
No, it's not Sofia's fault. She was a delight.
Never again.

Cool bar, great menu, however, only had chips and drinks. Their bean salsa is awesome!

While staying in SB, came for lunch before attending a wedding. Sat at the bar, ordered a water and pollo tacos, which were delicious. I asked for the bill, which was $12.84. I asked the bartender / waitress if I could pay with my phone, because I didn’t have my wallet, and she replied they didn’t take Apple Pay. I informed her I was staying at the Drift hotel, a mere 50 feet away (or less) and I’d go retrieve my wallet. She insisted that I leave some sort of collateral, in case I skipped out on my bill. Absolutely ridiculous. I could have left some of my jewelry, or perhaps taken off my socks. Lucky for me, I had my earbuds in, so I left them on the counter. After getting my wallet, which took less than five minutes, I returned to pay, but a kind man at the bar had paid my tab. All of $12.84. Plus tip I suppose. I understand the waitress was just doing her job, but come on — make me feel distrusted as a customer for $12.84? I’ll never return. Tacos were delicious though.

Everything was great, but they seemed a bit short staffed. The meal came promptly, but follow ups and the bill finalization took a while

I didn't like the smoky taste the rice and beans had. I've never had Mexican food taste like this.

I'm surprise how underrated this place was. It's so delicious and they have authentic hand made tortillas!

The service was a bit slow but it takes time to dish out quality food. And the portion sizes are huge!

Fantastic. We've been going to SB at least once a month for 20 years, and accidentally ended up there for the 1st time. It is so good, I can't wait to go back to SB just so I can eat there again.
