Magnificent, one of our prettiest beachside places on our trip. The people are friendly, we met a few sand sculptors, and even in this season it is good to walk there. The best thing to do is rent a boat.

I recommend the place to go to eat at Brophy Bros. A nice and delicious place to eat while passing through on the Pacific highway

Great town and marina ruined by insane harbor patrol that act more like police officers in a ghetto. He actually became more angry when we he realized we had done nothing wrong and stopped me for ten straight days after to harass us. We were also manipulated into leaving our anchorage for the marina by them in a storm and handed a HEFTY BILL afterwards. NO SAFE HARBOR here storm or otherwise.

One of the best cities in the US. Beach vibes and all the nature from Whale Watching off Channel Islands to hikes in Eucalyptus with waterfalls. There's a lot of history here too with the Mission being built in 1762. The food is off the charts fresh, and there's a ton of activities.
