Satellite is a great place to grab some quick appetizers! You order at the host stand/bar and are welcome to find any seating available (I recommend sitting on the front patio of the weather permits as it is a great place to people watch and you will have a beautiful view of the Granada Theatre). They have a wide variety of vegetarian options which I always appreciate. I highly recommend the spinach artichoke dip and the grilled cheese. Be prepared for a hefty amount of edible (?) flowers to be thrown onto your plate. On Fridays, they occasionally have a close up magician stop by which is always a fun experience. A bit on the pricier side, but the portions are decent and the quality is sublime.

I like this place. It’s small and intimate yet open and in a high traffic area. Good for people watching as this block tends to be busier than some in the area. You’ll find interesting items on the menu for both food and drink. I found the service to be very good, and the food to be definitely above average. There’s indoor table seating, bar seating, counter seating facing outside, as well as sidewalk seating to fit whatever mood you happen to be in.Parking: Large city parking lot behind the building located on Chapala between Figueroa and Anapamu. Public walkway near CorePower yoga, or cheat and go through CVS. First 75 minutes free parking, at least at the time of this writing

This was a great find. The staff was very welcoming and we loved the food - tacos and shitake confit. Tasted delicious. The apple cider was a tad too sweet for my liking but the staff was very gracious in receiving my feedback. The background sounds accentuate the chill vibe.

The yoga pants salad is amazing! We’ve eaten there and ‘people-watched’ with warm blankets on our laps (compliments of the restaurant ) as well as ordered ‘to go’. Service is always friendly and welcoming, and the ‘vibe’ is cozy. Great place to bring out-of-town guests to experience the unique artistry of SB cuisine.

Really love this place. Really nice location in front of the Kiva co working space. Centrally located on state st. There's also a dune coffee a few doors down. I popped in for a couple glasses of wine. Nice pours! I think they have a great wine list. The owner is meticulous with his choices! Definitely going to go back next time i'm around there. The food was delicious! Great place to go if you have vegetarian/vegan friends or family. We got the vegan tacos, tomato confit, and the vegan mac & cheese to split amongst the three of us :) . Would go again!

The satellite had a good variety of vegetarian and cheese friendly menu items that included tacos, grilled cheese, and even macaroni and cheese.We did sit outside and enjoyed the evening breeze while not being in the sun thankfully. Their nut cheese was a very tasty alternative and I would recommend it for vegan friendly diners.

This place is a treasure on State Street. The menu is unique and seasonal...lots of care into the dishes. Although I am not vegetarian/vegan I felt very satisfied. Fabulous salads, tasty grilled cheese, awesome beans salad thingie. Very interesting natural wines and great service. The owner really knows his wines!
