Crepería el chisme

We needed a lunch catered for 20+ people at the last minute and the team at El Chisme came through! The service was quick, the food was delicious and they saved the day! Thank you! A true hidden gem!

Was closed during opening hours, we traveled 20 miles for nothing..

Delicious, smooth cappuccino, just like in Ukraine. Tasty pastries and a pleasant atmosphere and interior.

Open early. Super cute. Family operated. Mocha was so good. Must get a breakfast burrito do yummy! Perfect spot to start your morning!

This is one of my fave spots to go to when I am in Santa Barbara. Their breakfast and pastries are great, but I love their tamales and salsa, especially. Not to mention, the owners/employees are absolutely wonderful people and are so attentive and kind whenever I go there. Their service makes it that much more enjoyable.

great cozy establishment and nice employees. the food in the other hand disgusting. i had a craving for an esquite and the nearest place to my job that had one is this place . i was so exited to get my craving satisfied i receive my order and its a mushy mess mayo and chile everywhere it looked so unappetizing. i tried it and it was gross so much mayo the corn tasted old . that’s not how an esquite is supposed to look or taste . i’ll leave a photo of how disgusting it looked . they didn’t even ask me how much mayo i wanted or if i wanted chile so that’s why i didn’t specify it’s their job to ask . i only could eat half sucks my money went to the trash . do better creperia de chisme ! ( that’s the esquite i received looked like 🤢)

Great place. Very good customer service, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left they treated us very well. The food was a luxury, everything was very delicious. The place itself is very quiet and comfortable.

The best Nutella and strawberry crepes! No stupid “it’s gonna ask you a question” when you pay! Hardworking family and local owned place with tamales and lots of other stuff, all delicious!

Definitely the best churro in town !
