This is my favorite bar in Santa Barbara and I doubt that will ever change. Miss the chongo shot but the espresso shot and a Bay of Santiago will always and forever hit the spot. Every. Single. Time.Everyone who works here are professionals and friendly. Never ever had less then a stellar time.

Fun bar, we came in during their Nightmare Before Christmas pop up. Loved all the decorations and themed drinks. They have a variety of cocktail options and do allow children in, which was a plus since we had an infant in our group. Service was super friendly and helpful.

This is a great spot. the bar area is pretty nice and the space is pretty open. there is some seating out front on state st which is nice if you want to people watch. This place is on lower state st. It also shares a space with broad street oyster company. This is like the 2nd or 3rd place that has turned over in there. Used to be modern times. Surprisingly, the burger at broad street is pretty good. Its pretty small too. Shaker mill is a nice place to come to every now and then. The long tables are nice for gatherings with friends. Not sure how popular it is these days. Seems like it was more popular in the past.

This has been one of my favorite spots for years. The staff are always going the extra mile to take care of you. Get the Arroz Con Pollo or the Miami Vice!

For context, friends and I came here Saturday noon so it wasn't that busy. Got ourselves lobster rolls & fries from Broadstreet and got drinks hereLoved the whole indoor outdoor set up and the tropical feel without feeling overdone. Loved that the whole set up stayed true to the Cali-Coastal feel. I naturally had to order the most iconic cocktail in the menu -- Miami Vice. Came in a huge shell vessel (see photo) good enough to be shared by two or a slow sipping drink while enjoying lobster and buttery rolls with friends. Loved seeing the drink made - granted it was not peak hour. The pina colada has coffee beans in it (there is an option to forego), made it have another texture and flavor. The strawberry daquiri was sweet enough to balance the alcohol. Also impressed that the straws were able to hold up to the boozy slushie. The little details like the orchid, greenery and flamingo definitely adds to the overall experience -- at least for someone like me and does not go unnoticedBartender was kind, I had my little and he made her a pina colada sans the alcohol and coffee and she loved it. Also appreciate that it was made with as much detail as my drink which the little was so excited about

The vibe was pretty nice here. I liked the lighting and there were people all around. They had both food and drinks so that was pretty nice. The bartenders also make the drinks in front of you so that is really cool. However, I got the mango lassi and it didn't taste like a mango lassi at all. Since there was so little liquid, the alcohol took over the entire drink and it tasted entirely like alcohol and literally no mango. So I definitely wouldn't recommend the mango lassi specifically. My friends liked their drinks though.

Really good cocktails! The Porto Guava is amazing and I always come for the espresso martinis! The place is a vibe. Also- they have amazing bloody Mary’s which I’ve had a hard time finding in SB!

(Overall: 72% | C) - Shaker Mill is open bar where you can order a set of drinks at the counter and take it to your choice of table. Per a friend's recommendation, I tried the Mango Lassi. Unfortunately, the name is purely a bait as the only part of the drink I could actually taste is an overpowered lime flavor. I found the drink rather disappointing and that the flavors could be significantly better balanced such that the tropical mango flavor comes through.

Stopped by to use the bathroom and grab a drink. Wife had the strawberry daiquiri and i had the Florida man. The Florida man tasted like grapefruit juice to me. I wish I ordered the strawberry daiquiri. The wife's strawberry daiquiri was perfect and not overly sweet like many other places.

Bartender was friendly, quick and made some mighty fine drinks. Atmosphere was great. Next time I'm in Santa Barbara I'll be back.

12/26. 11:30 pm. Bartender is an a**hole. Tried to fight my friend. Had such an arrogant attitude: accused us of trying to provide drinks for multiple people, but we offered to provide the number of IDs he asked for. Told us our drink was full and we couldn’t buy a new drink, but the drink was gross and we didn’t want to finish it. Way over priced. $15 for a BABY shot. Never coming back.

Great drinks, and good food (the food is actually from Broad Street Oyster, inside Shaker Mill). Nice ambiance. It was crowded Halloween evening
