10/10 recommend for anyone looking to go wine tasting in Santa Barbara. Not only is the wine amazing, but the owner is such a great host! He was very informative on the wines we were tasting and let us in on his story of starting his business. When we visit Santa Barbara again, we will definitely be coming back to Skyenna. Thank you, Lenny!

We had the best time wine tasting with Mickey! He took really good care of us, gave us lots of interesting facts about wine and made us laugh the whole time we were there. Such a lovely guy and we felt so welcomed the moment we walked in. The place is beautiful and all the wines were lovely. Mickey did offer for us to revisit any wines we had tried, we could have stayed all evening but had dinner to get to. I would highly recommend Skyenna, and have told my friends travelling to Santa Barbara in a few weeks time to give Skyenna a visit!

This review is to say the following: We didn't try any wine here. They do not have food here. The food menu is for show. They bring the food in from somewhere else. We stayed for about 3 minutes. The guy working there, as many others have mentioned, seems charismatic and sharp. He had the sense to observe and sum us up in 30 seconds and recommend a different location that would fit our family of four better (Margerum) than Skyenna. It would have been nice to stick around and try the wine, but this just isn't a place for families. The demographic target is for wine drinkers period. No food, no family. It's all about the wine. Next time, when my kids aren't with me, maybe.. So don't take your kids here. And go when you aren't hungry.

not for kids. get a sitter or just go somewhere else. that's the vibe.no food.probably great wine just do not take your kids.the winemaker recommended another place to us. i didn't feel like my kids were welcome at all and they could sense it.Kid-friendliness: DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS.

Came here on a Sunday and was pleasantly surprised. The owner was very nice and we had great conversations while we did our tasting. We tried several different wines and they all were very good. I ended up walking away with a bottle of cab (which normally is not my favorite). A very nice experience overall.

Such a pleasant surprise on Funk Zone. The outside is definitely deceiving. We were walking by and thought let's give it a shot. Walking by it looks kinda sketchy but when you walk inside WOW! So beautiful and the service is outstanding! We were told all about their wines and we were asked what our wine palette was and the gentleman found me the perfect wine! We sat outside on the tiny but cozy porch which was a great place to people watch! This was a nice surprise on funk zone and we will be back and bring friends!

We had a great time here! We sat at the bar and enjoyed all the wines that we were served! It did get a little confusing as the wines were a little mixed up and served in the wrong order? But the gal behind the bar was super nice! We enjoyed that there was air conditioning there! People trickled in and out of thereand all seemed to enjoyed themselves as well! One couple bought like 6 bottles of wine! Highly recommend, very chill atmosphere and pretty good wine!

We LOVE Skyenna, we came here 3 years ago when we first started dating and saved our bottle of Skyenna GSM for the night we got engaged! Lenny is an awesome guy and we loved hearing about his story. If you’re in Santa Barbara, definitely a must! Thanks, Lenny. :)

Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our winetasting experience here. Just when we thought we were leaving the Funk Zone we came across Skyenna, which is a beautiful space, entering on Helena Avenue, and walking through to the Wallace Gallery and out to Anacapa Street. The wines were exceptional. The host Mickey was very knowledgeable about what he was pouring, and had a nice description of each varietal. Their Chardonnay and Viognier were our favorite whites, and the GSM, Pinot Noir, and Malbec very tasty reds.

We visited Skyenna on Saturday afternoon at about 5pm. The crowd was in and out -- sometimes busy and the next moment not. It is a great space, with plenty of room to move around. The guy who runs the place (sorry, I forget his name even though we had a great conversation with him) is the winemaker and told us the story about the name of his winery along with lots of other fun tidbits. It seemed he genuinely cared about his wine and label and took the time to really get to know us.His wine tasting was $25 for 5 tastings. Great place, great people, great fun! Try Skyenna!

One of the best tastings we have had in Santa Barbara by far. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and our time talking with the owner Lenny. There are some great varietals and even one we had never tried before. We recommend anyone looking for a great vibe and experience to find this place tucked away near the Funk Zone. Definitely a hidden gem!

New and improved! Same classic wines but with a fresh new space with an art gallery steps away. Love coming on Thursdays to hang out with Mickey, who is not only a sommelier in training but has tips and tricks and jokes to keep you entertained for many a pour. Across the board the wines are great but my personal fav is their Pinot. Give it a shot if you're looking for a unique wine-tasting experience in the Funk Zone!
