Had a Horrible experience at Soho. First I was hassled at the front door because I said I had a seat with band and they didn’t believe me. The hostess wouldn’t help me get a waitress so I could order. I had to ask for silverware. The veggie bowl I ordered was a pile of overboiled mushy vegetables. The music was way too loud, hitting 100db peaks on my phone’s DB meter. And then one of the waitresses wanted to argue with me when she realized that I hadn’t left a tip. If I hadn’t been confronted by the waitress, I would’ve left without a second thought and not posted this review. I would NEVER go back or recommend Soho to anybody.
Clean classy venue.
5 star for music venue, 2 for food that was included in ticket price...10 oz. Porterhouse Porkchop was not edible, 1/4" thick, dry as a bone with no sauce...Chewy as well could not eat. Mashed potatoes were dry w/no gravy or butter. Server came around and agreed and offered another choice. Note: Cannot order extra off the regular menu, said they were "out of french fries"! I had the Butternut Squash Ravioli and were quite delicious. Drinks were meh, and had to send our Margaritas back twice.... Music and show were fabulous as usual.
This is the place to go for music in Santa Barbara! Great music, great food, and a great atmosphere! Go check it out
It was what I consider overpriced. They also only took cash. I know every restaurant has preferences but inconvenient nonetheless.
I would never go back to or recommend this place to anybody. I had a reservation for dinner and a show. Arrived at reservations time to be ignored for the 1.5 hrs, no server came or drink order taken at all!! No joke, and I'm not exaggerating at all. The show ended up starting around 830, which is when a server finally came up and asked if we've been helped. The manager did or said nothing about it when we brought it to his attention. He was the person who sat my party down.
Dancing Salsa and Batchata to live music is wonderful, and I am excited to come back! The DJ's are also wonderful to dance to as well. It was a good reason to go out of town to Santa Barbara.
Dopest place in SB for a show--tiny, packed, & full of energy. Beer selection is a little meh for this day and age, but reasonably priced. The bartenders are amazing to watch, and they don't ignore you!
Came here for a Wednesday night concert. There's plenty of parking in the back lot.We got a little lost looking for the restaurant but we found our way.
This place is rad

Lots of great music live music. They only accept cash at the door for cover, they don’t advertise this. They also told me they were sold out and then when a group of 3 men walked up, they said they miscounted and had room. Limited seating in the back where you can’t see the main stage.
Great local venue
it's a small place for a small group of performers, but that's the worst I can say about it. there is a small stage at one end - maybe 10 to 15 - and great music whenever they choose to perform. The space is long and narrow - the back half is pretty quiet. the whole place is on the end floor...enjoy!
Expensive drinks
Been coming here for a long time. One of the few places you can see live music besides the SB Bowl. Not a lot of big big names, but definitely some great artists. Recently saw Katchafire there. They were really good. Lots of drunk and loaded people. I guess that's typical for concerts, but it was very apparent here. The music was way too loud though, when I walked out my ears were ringing and I thought, oh I've never hear that wavelength again. Wear earplugs if you're going to a show. I've never eaten there but the drinks are good.
