Stopped by the Starbucks in Santa Barbara and while the staff was polite and professional, I was a bit disappointed with the limited drink customization options. I asked if there was a way to make the refresher more like a “Monster” energy-style drink, but they didn’t have any suggestions or alternatives available.
Ended up going with a cold carbonated beverage which came out to around $4.50 plus tax and tip. It did the job, but wasn’t quite what I was hoping for.
Again, not the staff’s fault—they were great—but it would be nice if the location had more flexibility or clearer options for energy-boosting drinks.

Great coffee! However, the barista didn’t wash their hands before making my drink from being on their phone. They just wet their fingers for a second and put their hand on the sippy cup where I would be drinking from and ended up getting sick right after. Please wash hands fully with soap or at least wear gloves. ?

The first ever Starbucks to deny me hot water. This is especially strange because this Starbucks is supposed to serve the customers of this grocery store. They're sharing profits with the grocery store. So even if I'm not going to spend money directly at the Starbucks I'm spending money at the grocery store so I should really get hot water. I'm going to take the time to one star this Starbucks on every Google account that I have which is at least three.
