I haven’t had subway in a long time. I got a six inch and a small bag of chips. For 10.68 plus tax and tip. Pretty good but I’m still a bit hungry. Next time I will go down to On the Alley and get a huge burger with fresh lettuce, tomato, onions…. PLUS a HUGE side of HOMEMADE potato chips!! For $11.25 plus tax and tip. I can barely finish it , though I do!
But this was a good lesson learned for me.

I have had some good experiences here but I instantly have to give a fast food style restaurant a one start if they dont let customers get food 20 minutes before they are supposed to close.

Called to follow up a Doordash order on a Thursday at about 8:45pm. Employee noted that the order had come through twice. she preceded to put the phone down to ask her manager if the second order could be canceled. all I heard for 7 minutes was employees specifically discussing the situation and laughing amongst each other. Minimum wage doesn't mean companies aren't obligated to provide a basic standard. This location needs work.
Cliff drive is our favorite Subway! Store very clean, always smells good in there, food looks orderly and fresh, nice staff and really good sandwhices. A win-win ?

Joaquin was amazing. He was quick to make 5 sandwiches. He was also friendly and had great recommendations. I would recommend this Subway on the Mesa to anyone who wants a quick bite for a great price.
