Fresh fish was the best there, other than that it is like any other sushi place. Standard roles and appetizers.

The food tasted amazing. The miso soup was the best I've had. They have 2 sizes. The sushi tasted fresh, and for 10 pieces of a cpecialty roll it was 16.50 plus taxes, which is great pricing, especially considering the area.

Excellent Japanese food option while in SB. Reasonably priced, food came out quick, wait staff was attentive, and the outdoor seating area was comfortable and nice. We ordered a 2 item bento and about 5 rolls. The only weird thing was it's the first time in my 40+ years where I had to cut my own steak and chicken at a Japanese restaurant. In any part of the world. Japan, US, etc. Not a deal breaker, because it still tasted good.

I went here for dinner and I got served California rolls with avocados in it. I’m allergic to avocados so I asked if they could remake them without avocados due to my allergy. Instead of remaking my rolls they just pushed out the avocados and put in cucumbers and served it to me. Minutes after leaving the restaurant I had an allergic reaction to the avocados and had to go to urgent care. They did not believe or respect my allergy and put my life at risk by serving me contaminated food after I told them about my allergy. I wish I didn’t spend $40 on food I had to get pumped out of me due to lack of professionalism.

Fried Veg Spring Rolls was good and not too oily, good starter choice.Waitress suggest the Sushi Samples Dinner for Main, coleslaw salad was tasty, Miso soup was ok, like a fish broth (not something I would have ordered but atleast tried it), sushi was fresh and good, bit basic and would have gone for something else if I had known. They have a big sushi selection.Hubby had the Chicken noodle dish, I had a bite, that was the better choice.Waitress was friendly but had to be new as she didn't know when questions were asked. Food came out promptly.Overall, I would go back to try a different dish than the one I had.

Worth the walk to get out of the more tourist filled spots. Outstanding sushi and rolls, great patio. Casual vibe.

My wife messed up my order over the phone. Lady working the cash register was extremely helpful, professional, and most importantly friendly. She was able to resolve the problem without any issues. Well done, Sushi teri !! I will continue to be a loyal customer for many more

Sushi Teri is iconic in Santa Barbara, it’s a safe bet for a first date or family dinner. Quality is not the highest for the price, but the environment is what you pay for. Overall food is solid, but there are other options with the same quality but better price.Service is good and environment is definitely worth it!

Great spot for casual sushi! This restaurant caters to those nearby who might be looking for a convenient meal. While it’s definitely not top notch sushi quality, everything we had tasted good and did the job. Our server was a bit clueless when it came to recommendations and general service but perhaps they were new. While the quality of the fish was alright, the consistency and texture of the rice (and some of the fish) made me think perhaps it wasn’t the most fresh. I would also appreciate a more spacious spot that might not feel as cramped as this one. There are so many sushi restaurants in town that might offer higher quality at similar pricing, but for minimal wait time and a quick meal, this might just be your best bet!

Suggest the front porch for neat seating. Inside a bit dull. We had 3 different waiters and waitresses helping us. My wife said freshest she has had in a long time (She is from Thailand) Thanks to LuLu suggesting to us!

Sushi Teri is a great go to for a quick sushi meal! The sampler platter was a good assortment of flavors and textures, while the shrimp chow mein had great noodles and tender shrimp. The chicken and grilled veggies were perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The chicken teriyaki was tender and juicy without being too sweet, and the poke bowl was the best dish overall. To top it off, a bottle of rose complemented the meal beautifully. Sushi Teri is a great option for a quick meal and a reasonable price.Only downside is the restaurant on Bath street is small and you might have to wait fir a table.
