This place is great. You want McConnell’s? Go here. Why, you may ask? They have McConnell’s ice cream and the prices are the same, HOWEVER, the portions…Way better. One scoop at the actual McConnell’s is OK. One scoop at this marvelous establishment is enough to leave me in a coma. Also, you can get a cone for free. 10/10. I’m personally very into the sweet cream salted caramel brownie.

Great shop for McConnell's Ice Cream fans! Decent seating area inside, similar offerings (sundaes, shakes, cones, toppings, etc.), portion size and price as Mission St. Ice Cream, which I'm also a huge fan of. Bigger portions than McConnell's on State St., good service, convenient location and most importantly, no lines!

Sweetie's serves McConnell's ice cream, but its better than McConnell's because McConnell's has jacked up the price while simultaneously reduced the serving price. A single scoop at McConnell's is basically the size of their kid's cup from a few years ago. Sweetie's single cup and double cup are actually what the single cup and double cup used to be at McConnell's. Yes, you get the same ice cream for the same price, but in a much large serving cup. Its a win win. In addition, there is a bogo deal from Twism (used to be Axxess card).

LOVEDDDDD sweeties ice cream. the dairy free flavors are to die for, would recommend the DF chocolate brownie. the workers were so kind and accommodating. very aesthetic with a lovely inside. i'll be back!!

I love dessert, especially good ice cream. We stopped here after dinner at the boathouse, and it was just perfect. Great flavors to sample. Nice gentlemen offered us samples and great service. Ambiance was light, colorful, and fun for families. Visiting from AZ so it was a nice find!

We recently moved to the Mesa from downtown and we're so excited to find out sweeties was in the neighborhood as we love McConnell's!! The shop itself is super cute and has little arcade games to play. They have a great assortment of flavors and I was thrilled they had several of the dairy free flavors available. The cups are big and portion size seemed generous to me! The price is a bit higher than at McConnell's but I'd say portion size is bigger as well. They do have an axxess deal for buy one get one free which is great! Overall we had a great experience and look forward to many future ice cream outings to sweetie's!

My visits there in the last few months have been met with very attentive and enthusiastic servers, and I hope the biz stays strong. I have lived on the Mesa for 35 years, so believe this location is great for the walk/bike ambiance of this neighborhood, and the easy access and parking behind the store makes a quick stop possible anytime.

This ice cream shop on the Mesa is such a treat! I hate waiting in the long lines at McConnells and this is a great alternative! They serve McConnells ice cream and have a variety of toppings. The place itself is very fun to visit and they have arcade games for kids to play.

Single scoop is $6.25 and a double scoop is 8.75. I asked for a double scoop with two spoons. The dude Jaden charged me for two single scoops because that's "basically what it is" Why? I asked for a double scoop. Definitely over paid and the customer service from him was not it. Won't be back. $13.50

Today was my third visit to this delightful McConnell's ice cream shop. We arrived at 3:00 and the person running the show told us she was on a break and we had to wait 10 minutes. So we left. Just not cool at all. So very disappointed.

Slow for a Sat night...all alone.The McConnell's ice cream is fantastic,however, the interior decorating is black and white. There's , two video game tables and some seating that didn't make us feel comfortable to relax in. The music was classic '80s (crimson and clover) however, the whole place felt sterile and cold.The service was decent but done without smiles. A young woman there tonight almost glared at a customer who requested a sample taste. It just didn't have a fun feel to it!
