Small taco shop off of Milpas, about a mile from the beach. Variety of tacos (15 types including head and tongue), enchiladas and other items like poloze and tacos consome. Excellent food, reasonable prices. Small dining room with 5 tables and 8 barstools.
My wife and I flew to Los Angeles in February and we rented a car. One of our destinations was Santa Barbara for the sole purpose of coming to Tacos Pipeye. It was completely worth it, the barbacoa and chicharrón tacos were to die for, the service is amazing and the selection of tacos is some of the best there is. We really enjoyed our meal here. We went for lunch on a Friday, around 1p. There was no wait, and plenty of available seats. Service was quick and friendly. I had a Rajas con Queso and a Lengua taco. Partner ordered an Alambre plate. 3 tacos and a beer was just right for each of us.
