My most favorite place to enjoy authentic, delicious food!
I truly recommend their carne asada. The meat is never dry. It's super juicy and flavorful! Tortas, gorditas, sopes, tacos, I could go on and on. Top it off with a good salsa and a refreshing, ice cold squirt!

I really slept on this place for a minute, but it’s honestly the best in town. The tacos are sooo good. So simple but flavorful. I haven’t tried much, but the chorizo, suadero, and asado tacos are top notch. They also have a good selection of vegetarian tacos

Tacos were very good. Had the chorizo and the Tonga (shredded chicken with chipotle sauce). Just solid tacos. Gonna go back and try a burrito sometime. Food was good and quick. Great spot, but more of a take out spot as it is small.

Our FAVORITE Mexican place in Santa Barbara. We always stop here for lunch on roadtrips. The tortas are our go-to. I know the pictures don't look like much, but TRUST ME- they're SO good!!! My son had the quesadilla with el pastor and it's- a significant serving. Prices are fair, side salsas are great, facility is clean.

The first time I tried this place was a complete disappointment a few years back. I decided to give them another chance and they have improved the food. Still, the chicharrón they use for the gorditas is TOO WET. Chicharrón for gorditas must not be soaked in salsa verde, it mush be stirred fry with chile pasilla, or ancho, like the chicharrón prensado.

I had seen this taqueria before. Today I made the decision to stop and try their tacos, typical small double tortilla taco their sazon was OK, not perfect. I order 5 tacos 2 alpastor it wasn't bad nor good. 2 lengua tacos the meat seemed to be a combination of new and old. The other taco wasn't good at all. They have a self serve salsa bar with shop cilantro white onions rabanos and limes with 4 different salsas they are super spicy a little more than I would like it to be. They made me cry more than that unnamed woman who was unfaithful to me.

Over all it was a good experience Thank you to Jeni for coming to my table and clean it .

I’ve consistently had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The staff are always friendly, and the food is consistently well-prepared. I love the variety of affordable and delicious options they offer. The strawberry shake is perfectly balanced—just the right amount of sweetness. The enchiladas verdes are tasty and has a great spice to them. I also highly recommend the chorizo sopes. Their online ordering system is quick and user-friendly, and over the past two years, I’ve never encountered issues with my food, wait times, or service.

If you're searching for the best taco shop in Santa Barbara, look no further! The welcoming atmosphere at this hidden gem is unmatched, with smiles from the kitchen and friendly waves that make you feel right at home. The variety of authentic options is simply mouthwatering, and my kids can't get enough of anything with chicken.

But let's talk about those tortas – packed with hot salsa, one even brought me into labor! To this day, it remains the best taco experience in Santa Barbara. While Los Agaves is beloved by many and has its moments, if you crave the real deal, this is the spot for you. All the gringos might flock to Los Agaves, but true taco aficionados know where the real flavor is.

This place is a must-visit for anyone wanting an authentic and delicious taco experience!
