Customer service 0. Good was disgusting, on the top found hair in my plate. Never come here!

Idk why this shows permanently closed, it's not. Pennie's has been my first thai food place here in Santa Barbara, and it was good. Generous portion, super cheap, and the protein was perfect, especially the tofu!

Excellent fried rice. I usually go to Galanga for fried rice (theirs is the best in town) but the fried rice here is still very good and the portion is like twice the size. It's well seasoned, moist, generous amounts of chicken and egg, and a very reasonable price. I found it to be enough for both dinner and lunch the next day. I will have to try more items from their menu

Third time here. The food is tasty and the portions are very generous. We got pad thai, yellow curry and fried rice. There were large shrimp in the pad thai and fried rice. Not a dine in place, get take out. We’re new to sb and glad we found it! We’ll be back

Horrible place on top of food. Found hair in our soup and also ordered drunken noodles and they only gave a partial order. Threw away all the food. Then went to get money back they wouldn't give the full refund of 38$ then yelled at me on top of it. Go to a real Thai place like aYour Choice Thai here in Santa Barbara. Only reason why we didn't which we have gone for 28 years is they were closed. Save your money!!! Get real food from a amazing restaurant!

After attending the prestigious Lucidity Festival in Santa Barbara, my wife and I had to get a last minute oil change at a place nearby within walking distance, so we had limited options. The guy at the car repair station told us there is Mexican food and a cafe nearby, but we found this place even closer and right around the corner, and man did this hit the spot! We only ordered the pad Thai so I cannot comment on the curry here. My wife is from Thailand though, so I think our opinion is legitimate. While nothing at any restaurant I've been to is as good as her Pad Thai, we both loved this place, and the portions are great. We added chili sauce to make it spicy. The pad Thai was very flavorful and perfectly cooked. This made our day. Thank you Thai Kitchen!

I literally made a yelp account to write this review. I have been on a quest for pad Thai for at least 5 years ever since I experienced pad Thai euphoria at a random vegan restaurant in boulder Colorado. I have eaten many pretty good pad Thais but nothing reminded me of that blissful moment until right NOW. This is the pad Thai I have been scouring for after all these years. Some pad Thais are dry, this one is wonderfully saucy. You get tofu, shrimp, and chicken. The portion is big enough to feed Arnold Schwarzenegger. The balance of flavors is divine. This is the pad Thai I've been searching for. I have arrived

OMG! The food is the best Thai food I've had in SB! I ordered Panang Curry, Green Curry, and Thai Cashew Chicken. The Panang was my favorite but they were ALL delicious! The Panang was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice...SOOOO GOOD!

Like many have said before, their portions are very generous. They do provide a lot of sauce and my wife and I weren't sure if they use the sauce packets they sell near the register or if they make it themselves. Their pad thai's flavor was more on the sweet side with tofu softer than most places, a good amount of shrimp for the price, which I believe was 4 or 5 pieces and lots of peanuts. For the price its not bad, but if I had to compare it to other thai places on taste alone, I'd go to another place. I would come here again if I'm on a tight budget and most likely add hot sauce to balance the sweetness
