We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to stay on property so chose The Bistro. From start to finish, everything about our experience was absolutely incredible. The service was warm and attentive, the ambiance was just right, and every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. We had the seabass and beet salad, both of which were perfectly executed. The chef and team ensure you have a wonderful experience with delicious food and impeccable service. Whether a special occasion or a just looking for a great meal, go to The Bistro, you won't be disappointed.
Beautiful property. Warm and helpful staff. Outstanding spa. Picturesque views. Wonderful and relaxing place to spend a few days.
Food was mediocre at best. Waitress was kind but forgetful. Very slow service. Very underwhelming.
Amazing food, ambiance, and service! Had a delicious filet as well as apple crumble pie. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. This is a great place for any breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
The meal was served in a tent, creating a unique atmosphere. The service was exceptional—attentive and professional. However, while the food was decent, it didn't quite reach the same level of excellence.
Our server Olga was absolutely lovely. The indoor space is being renovated so a heated tent with pretty chandeliers was set up on the patio and made for a cozy atmosphere. Food was delicious.
With many of the resort dining locations closed for enhancements, we chose to try the Bistro again after they were recently closed, hoping it had been enhanced. It was not. The outdoor patio is closed off with drapes hanging to cover the construction zone. It took more than 30 minutes to get our cocktails, our food arrived cold, and sauces arrived at the end of the meal. Would like to write it off to how busy they were. However, we were one of 4 tables seated in the restaurant. Was disappointing, and we are not likely to return anytime soon.
Impressed with their vegan menu. Excellent food and service.

The view and settings are perfect! The resort is impeccable designed and maintained and the Bistro is located in an amazing area close to the pool and beach. Food is average, missing style and kick, drinks are ok but nothing out of ordinary. Disappointing. Service is subpar - they are missing professional personnel matching the expectations. Prices are on the high side so there is a gap between what you get and what you pay. Worth visiting only to enjoy the settings and the atmosphere!
I recently had the pleasure of celebrating a special lunch at this incredible restaurant, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and attentive welcome, setting the tone for a memorable experience. The intimate setting made for a perfect, relaxing atmosphere, and the stunning waterfront views were simply breathtaking. The upscale lunch menu offered a variety of delectable options, each dish more flavorful and artfully presented than the last. What truly made the experience exceptional was the peaceful ambiance—the low noise level allowed for easy conversation without any distractions. It was the perfect balance of elegance and tranquility. Whether you're looking for a romantic meal or a refined gathering with close friends, this restaurant is an absolute gem. Highly recommended!

We stayed at The Bacara Resort to celebrate our 1-year wedding anniversary. Our breakfast at The Bistro during our stay was a highlight of our trip. This is because we were fortunate to have Dulce as our server. She took excellent care of us and made sure we had a wonderful breakfast with a spectacular view and added special touches to make for the most wonderful and memorable celebration during our stay. All of the staff at The Bistro were top notch, but Dulce went over and beyond to make sure we had the most memorable and special lunch.
We have been dining at several of the restaurants at The Bacara. Wanted to have a relaxing and tasty casual dinner. Unfortunately, the menu is VERY LIMITED!! Quality of food was very bland. That said, the service was FANTASTIC!!!
The bistro was nice restaurant . The service was too slow when not too many customers. The appetizer came at the same time of the meal. The staff was very nice but service as stared, it was too slow.
Reservations made (for 5) but we were denied an outside, view table on Mothers Day. Service was very slow and inattentive on all aspects, initial ordering, drink refreshments, didnt even ask if we wanted more cocktails. Some food items were very good (fish and chips) others poor (salad) others OK (crabcakes). All in all a very disappointing and forgettable experience.
It's a bit of a walk to The Bistro once you valet park your car, but the outdoor seating is beautiful out on the patio. The food was great, the timing was a little slow since we went on a Sat morning at the end of breakfast (10:30-11). The food was wonderful!
