You must be known by many! I went to this coffee shop lately, and I was so happy with my observation and experience. The staves were so kind and courteous. The coffee and cakes were so delectable. The ambiance of the place was so amazing and relaxing. Five stars for you, guys! Cheers for your success!

Miss this place now that it’s closed

The drinks are okay but I couldn't believe you couldn't use the restrooms. McDonald's right there had their restrooms open.

A very nice, cosy & comfy place with a wide selection of beverages! Great opening hours, light options fir drinks and very helpful & friendly staff ?

Sale rep at the cash register was sick, handling money & put his hands on the rim of my coffee cup. Even without him sick, not a good quality health concern for customers.

My gripe with my experience would pertain to the rudeness of the wait staff and the lack of care towards their customer. I find it absurd that that they have the audacity to charge for a cup after their cup failed to preform. Please fulfill your coffee needs elsewhere.

Well, if you're in a hurry and, say, order ahead of time like I do, leave extra time for a lecture from the staff if they don't like the way you ordered your drink. My drink was withheld. I was held up in the morning by an employee. She wasn't friendly or accommodating. It wasn't as if I was patronizing their business. I was essentially scolded with no respect for my time or the fact that I purchase things here often. This isn't the first time. We were treated rudely about refills on more than one occasion with the staff demanding a receipt (even when they never gave us one). I don't need the third degree or rude treatment when I'm overpaying for coffee on a Monday morning. I suggest going to the State Street location where the staff is always friendly, accommodating, and wonderful.

Nice shaded location (near TJ's) and there is almost always a parking space. One of the few coffee shops around town that has power outlets. Solid coffee. Decent Jasmine and Dragonwell green tea. $1.00 refill for coffee. The service is great for the most part - it seems like quite a few people work here. However, the employee this morning left a bad taste in my mouth. She didn't say anything specifically unkind, but I got the feeling my presence was a burden to her. Maybe she is in pain and doesn't have much kindness to give. I've worked many years in retail - and I know workers aren't robots and have complex inner lives - but even at my worst I could fake it, or at least not be a grouch to my customers. I left feeling a bit resentful (or hurt) that a stranger would be so rigid and unkind to me. I don't deserve that! I'll get over it though haha. For prospective customers: the organic light roast (Peru) was infinitely better than the dark roast, which I had for refill. Four stars because of the location, affordability, power outlets, and most of the customer service. I couldn't go full 5 stars because, frankly, it's 2020 and you can find tastier, more complex, higher-quality coffee elsewhere.

Nice, friendly staff and clean store. My husband and I stopped in while on a long road trip headed north on Xmas morning (yes, they're open on Xmas!!! Yay!!!). I was craving one of their wonderful hot Vanilla Lattes so badly when we stopped. They weren't busy at all, so I didn't expect this, but once we were in the car with my drink and our food (breakfast burrito and an egg & cheese breakfast sand Wich, which were both really good!), I realized that I was given a café au lait instead of my vanilla latte. I was super bummed. I didn't end up getting what I really wanted until we got to their Pismo Beach location. At Pismo, I was offered a free drink as a replacement. They were so kind.

They were not only extremely rude, but extremely ignorant as well. Horrible customer service and will never visit again.

Extremely rude customer service. They were unwilling to help and was talking down to me like I was an idiot or something. I'd come in for something extremely simple and received nothing but disregard and rudeness. Just uneducated and ignorant staff.

Best atmosphere on De La Vina with the fire pit outside!! And you can leave a tip on your card unlike Starbucks. And there drinks are ten times better

It's fine for what it is.

Lovely staff!! The cashier was so friendly and helpful. It was our first time going to The Coffee Bean and we Loved it. Would definitely recommend. Ordered there seasonal drink. Very roomy inside even though there was a club playing Chinese chess. The parking is small about 10 cars fit.

I only wish they had more parking.
