Fresh, wholesome food for lunch or dinner. There are great options for vegans/vegetarians, and meat-eaters. I love that the produced is sourced locally from the Santa Barbara farmers market.
Order at the counter, find a seat, and they will bring your food out to you.
The house made lemonade is very refreshing, and the perfect amount of sweet (it’s not overly sweet at all!!!).
I had the mezze plate, it was fresh, delicious, and it was enough for meals for me.
The desserts are also unique and tasty (although I don’t believe they are vegan).
Super fun to enjoy dining outside on State street.
There are lots of prepackaged foods inside for purchase if you need something quick on the go.
Parking is in the paid lot behind Victoria Court (free for the first 75 minutes). On weekend evenings it can be difficult to find a parking spot here since it’s shared with many businesses and restaurants.
I look forward to coming back for lunch sometime.

Best falafel in Santa Barbara (dare I say)!

Made an impromptu stop for lunch at The Daisy and enjoyed every moment of the meal. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options! You can tell they prepare the ingredients and care about the quality of the food - everything was super fresh.

Also, I really appreciated how clean the staff kept the restaurant, even during busy periods. Everyone we interacted with from ordering to being served was extremely friendly and helpful.

This place is food done right…simple, fresh, but made with passion. Chef’s kiss!

What a letdown. The food was honestly quite disappointing—poorly prepared and lacking in quality. The burger was oversized to the point that everything slid out of the bun, and the patty had an unpleasant aftertaste. The ham sandwich was mediocre at best: the ham was overly salty, and the bread was cold, not crusty, and tasted stale. The banh mi was passable, but nothing special, and the bread was oddly chewy. Overall, it felt like a waste of money, and I genuinely don’t understand the high ratings this place has received.

What a fantastic little gem of a place!

My daughter and her wife are vegans, so finding a place for all of us (because I'm not) can be a challenge, but we have come to adore The Daisy for its offerings for all palates.

The pickled veggies are amazing. So much so that I buy some to take home. Everything else has been wonderful and their service is elegant and efficient. There's a different vibe to this place that just makes you feel... happy.

Looking for a lovely, casual restaurant with genuinely good and fresh food? Give The Daisy a try. And get the pickles!

Great food, better wine, amazing service.

Can’t praise Zack enough for taking care of us. Will definitely be back to see him, and order the red blend with chicken salad sandwich.

I hate to write a bad review of a small local business but felt important to share a truly unfortunate experience. I arrived today with my 5 yr old who was home sick to grab a quick lunch. the restaurant was empty save for the staff at 11:30 am. we walked up front to order and my daughter who was not feeling well was in my arms, I placed her on the counter for barely 2 seconds to grab my phone from my purse. The woman at the counter snapped at me to not put her on the counter because the owner doesn't like it. I was startled and said sure ok. and then said maybe say that more kindly to a customer as that was not so nice. so I walked down to the bar stools to put my daughter down and get my phone/wallet and then the owner, a british man who I have spoken with many times over the years as we have been loyal customers, walked over and placed a chalkboard sign that said something about having to be 21 yrs old to sit at the bar. I looked up and politely said excuse me and said you must be joking? He yelled at me that he didn't care if I was a regular customer he wasn't going to lose his liquor license. I was so stunned I said I am sorry I was just putting my daughter on the stool but obviously we can leave. He stormed off rudely. On my way out I said how unfortunate as that was one of our favorite restaurants. No one should be treated that way - no mother with her child, no human being frankly. Please consider where you spend your money as it matters.

Good food options. It's a bit pricey, but quality is better than most, and the portion size has improved. Burger is a bit bland. Needs seaoning or sauce to make it more unique. Ribs and fries are excellent.
Cookie was way too salty.

Wow, really exceptional, fresh tasting food. They were very flexible in adapting a sandwich to something vegetarian for me. All the servers were friendly and helpful and the patio outside is so lovely to sit out on. A great experience!

We hosted our wedding welcome party at The Daisy and it turned out SO WELL. The food was phenomenal (we knew it would be as we've eaten here before and had their catering...always SO GOOD), the wine was delicious and reasonably priced, the space is chic and we filled it to the absolute BRIM with people. We had such an amazing time, it was very low stress so we were able to actually enjoy our own party. THANK YOU !!!

Parking: Easy Santa Barbara parking lots.
