As a Habit long-time customer, I was disappointed to know that this Habit location now charges for providing ranch dressing while other locations do not. This location needs to be on the same page as other locations. Additionally, this restaurant prioritizes call-in orders. The restaurant was empty when I arrived to dine in w/my daughter, and it took them 20+ mns to get our order ready. Another customer was also in my shoes waiting for their order. Management needs to invest in proper customer service, planning/scheduling and last but not least, be on the same page as other Habit locations. This location will not get my business anymore.

Excellent place to eat hamburgers with fresh and very good quality ingredients, fast service and good attention. Affordable prices. Three types of fries and my recommendation is the sweet potato fries, they are very good 👌.

Long wait, cold food, filthy dining room, grumpy staff.

Then they made me get back in line to pay my 65¢ for ranch, prices are insane already. I've been coming to Habit for 25 years, and been taking my family here for the last 10. Unfortunately this place kind of sucks now, and it's harder to justify coming here every time.
Thankfully there's lots of options nearby. Kind of sad though.

I have an idea, besides changing your logo to a burnt hamburger, try adding a new slogan. I suggest "where we're locked in increasing prices" or something like that. Real talk, The Habit was one of if not, my favorite burger joint that offers a variety of great tasting food, but I can't look back if they don't up their game while willingly increasing their prices. I'd venture to say that they're going after five guys prices. Ha, no wonder why you guys are barely raved over regardless of how many locations you guys have, and in-n-out always takes the spotlight! Unfortunately for you, you won't be seeing me stepping into one of these for a while.

Edit: Out of curiosity I re-downloaded the app to try to log back in to the account I've previously made. There's an error saying that I put my password incorrect so of course I let them email a code. And what do you know? They've NEVER sent an email. I tried multiple times and still nothing. So you're trying to tell me that you'd go out of your way to increase your prices but wouldn't bother fixing an obvious glitch on your end? Can't recall having this issue w/ another website. Seriously can this company get more pathetic??? Plus they hardly give you any deals compared to many restaurant chains. Now my chances of stepping in a habit decreases to 0% XD

My favorite Habit! The specialty drinks are super delicious 😋 Tempura green beans are so good and their ranch is top notch! Parking can be a hot mess but it's worth it.

I used to order 1-2x a week the Cesar salad was always a favorite and of course their well known chargrilled burger. I stopped going for awhile and was craving a burger so I placed an online order for a double char with grilled onions and it didn’t live up to what the habit always stood for, making IT a habit. They’ve gone corporate which has severely impacted the quality of their food. The meat has changed, poor quality and doesn’t even reflect what the habit is known for and that’s those infamous charbroiled grill marks. Instead, giving a mushy burger that tastes like the beef was defrosted and sitting out. The meat was the heart of what the habit stood for and was known for and for that, it’s unfortunate they’ve gone corporate. They will still make their money, the world still goes on but I will take my money in this inflated economy elsewhere and will never return.

I’m so sad to leave this review as we have been big fans of Habit for years. Unfortunately, the last dozen or so times we have come they have gotten at least one and sometimes multiple things about our order wrong. Never any attempt to make it right just one of us waiting for 15 min for a new item while the rest of the family finishes their food.

Burgers and sandwiches are still good, salads too. But the experience just has been too negative to enjoy. And be prepared, recent change is you can’t get a single ranch with your meal for free. You pay for every one. I would much rather they just raise the price of the food and not Nickel and dime about a small ranch. Lastly, they just changed their lettuce for lettuce wraps—now limp with no shape and no longer crisp holding everything in place.

Living in santa barbara for 27 years I have always loved The Habit. But since they went corporate its really gone down hill. The food is still ok but the service is mediocre at best. Recently i responded to an ad which promised a free double char burger if I signed up for the app. So I signed up gave them all my info which is what they wanted. Well I didn’t get my free burger and when I asked the manager she said it wasn’t her problem and refused to look into it or do anything about it then walked away

It's nice to see a familiar face behind the counter. I recognized the lady from the Milpas Street location. I've never been to this one.

Parking: Unlike Milpas Street. This HABIT is located in a mall area. So there's plenty of parking to choose from.

Pickup order the girl was busy on her phone IG or Facebook? Asked for my order and she smack the bag as if it was an inconvenience.

This girl has told before not to touch the bags, but she too busy on her phone to pay attention that the customer standing there waiting.

Not sure I’ll be back. I called to speak to the manager and the Recording directing me to the Internet.

When we arrived we were served by a girl who supposedly spoke Spanish, since we are not from here and we asked for 4 hamburgers, however she charged us for 6 hamburgers adding about 30 dollars to the original order. As for the burgers, nothing out of this world. They are normal burgers with an affordable price, it is better not to come here and go to another burger place. The salads are very bad too.

Super friendly staff and the food was incredible, like always. We just drove 27 hours from Texas & got to our hotel to shower and change then went to the Habit for supper and was not disappointed! Fresh, awesome food!
