Good burger and fries good customer service
Delicious burger!! I had the cheeseburger smash with bacon. Nice patio for enjoying a drink. I had the most delicious kombucha...a blueberry lavender.
Admittedly I am not a big brewery person, however I had read about this spot while planning a trip to Santa Barbara over Memorial Day weekend. To secure a reservation you have to email the restaurant and they got back to me confirming my request within 24 hours. This is an open air brewery so there was not a hostess or anyone giving instructions. Upon asking for assistance to be sat at our table because we had a reservation I was told to just go look for my name on any given table. There was a QR card on the table for menu, drinks, etc. After waiting a bit and flagging down a staff member to try and order we were informed we had to go and wait in line to order which was not explained to us from the start. By the time our party finally got to sit down after ordering it was over 45 minutes past our reservation time. Food took well over an additional 30 minutes for our burger and 45 for our pizzas (from time of order). We also repeatedly asked for flatware and napkins from staff with no response.
The good news, the food is great. So if you have all the time and patience and plan to make a whole afternoon or evening of it this is probably a great spot for you. I was unprepared for this type of experience and would not plan to return.
Consistent (which is rare in this town), impeccable food and service. Although, I have only been helped by Danika (or Danica?) who has always been friendly, and certainly helpful! Having been a hotel concierge in town for over a decade, I always want to know the best places to send my guests. For me, Third Window is the only brewery in town. Period! They simply have no competition! What food and what service! I will certainly keep coming back and will send all of my guests here.
This was our go-to restaurant in SB for over a year but something changed…the chicken wings were hard and very dry, the brisket lacked tenderness, and where did the amazing brownie go. Did they change baker because the bread was dry? And for a place where you basically wipe your dirty table and clean up after, grab your own ice from a wine store where one practically feels asking for forgiveness first for even asking…maybe it’s time to find a new place. And then they ask you for 18% tip when you pay? I will give 3 stars just because the beer is consistently good.
Smash burger was simple and amazingly delicious. Tallow fries, incredible. Food came out fast and hot. Staff super friendly. Great place to sit outside with you dog and enjoy everything!
If you’re hunting for the best burgers in Santa Barbara, look no further…. this place nails it! Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, every bite felt like burger heaven.
Wow! What an amazing place. The selection of beers is big enough to satisfy all customers. We had a lovely server at the bar who let us sample the beers before deciding and helped us choose something we liked. The food was amazing, we tried two of the smashed burgers and they were exquisite. The fries are also banging, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Plenty of starter and salads if you want to be good and they are equally tasty! The patio has ample space, the sun hits it nicely and at night they have many heaters to go around. Fantastic vibes, a must visit.
Third Window is great, I enjoy going there any time I'm up in Santa Barbara. It's always busy but there's a big outdoor space with lots of seating and it's a cool setup between the brewery and winery so there's alcoholic options for all. As far as beer, there are a lot of original and unusual beers, so recommend a flight if you're a first-timer and a bit adventurous. The smash burger is the best around and honestly up there in the best I've ever had. The original is awesome with double patties that have lots of crispy edges, grilled onions, and a tangy mustard-based special sauce. Simple but so so good. The fries are crisp and really well-seasoned and come with a variety of dipping sauces. The lemon aioli is not to be missed. My only negative is there's basically no parking there, but street parking is easy enough to find close by.
It was packed on a Friday night. Long line for food orders even at 6:30. You order food and beer at the counter and it's brought to your table. Be sure to get a reservation if you can! Really cool venue and vibe. Family friendly and dog friendly. Salads were good, but the pizzas were delicious.

Hands down one of the best.
Great beer selection (that won several GABF medals), great food with lots of popups, and lovely indoor AND outdoor spaces to sit. They share a courtyard with a winery so those non-beer drinking among you have options.
A must place to be!
The smash to die for, small recommendations take a 3rd patty :) lots of places to sit, baby chair, and a huge veraity of beer ? enjoy
This place always looked packed every time we went to a coffee shop next door, so we gave this place a try. My friend also told me that their wagyu burgers were amazing. The cheeseburgers were indeed amazing! The meat was juicy and well cooked. Their wings were really good, too. What made this experience even more special was the ambience. Their spacious and lovely patio was well decorated. The food came out fast, too.
The fries and wings were really good. Thoroughly enjoyed the smash burger. Great atmosphere. Especially when the sun goes down.
