When you just look at the Ty Lounge from the outside, you can't tell how big it'll be downstairs. I like the layout a lot - bottles of wine everywhere, relaxed lounge feel with couches but also bar seating/ high top tables. Everything looks very sleek and clean, and the lighting is not too bright, not too dim.

it's a nice setting to go chill/hang out/have a couple of glasses of wine, maybe to even bring a date. But it's not definitely not a place to go to if you want something to munch on while sipping a glass of wine.

With three different wine palates in our group, we asked the waiter for a red recommendation. He made an absolutely on point suggestion, and all three of us were so happy that we ordered a second bottle.Service was fantastic, and the food was great too. We tried the squash blossoms and charcuterie, which were both delicious. If I lived in Montecito, CA, I would probably be a regular here!

Miss the lounge, looking forward to reopening pegged for 2023.

Fantastic place! Lots of open space and ambiance is city chic meets underground hideaway. Very friendly staff.

Loved the experience more than anything. Very cavey, private, cozy... Excellent for first dates. Not a lot of variety in good. Over very good.

We chose either to start or finish the evening with a drink in the Ty bar. We stayed inside as evenings are very cool this time of year. They do keep the door to the outside open so if you suffer from the chill best to chose a table as far away as possible from the door. They have live music playing in the evenings we went there. Spanish guitar was one evening.Staff were friendly and attentive .

07/31/2019 Patio dining on a beautiful, late July, Wednesday evening, incredible views of the ocean, islands, sailing yachts (a weekly race by the local yachts Called "wet Wednesday's), sea birds and azure seas was the awesome setting for a perfect evening. Our server, Jesse was totally professional, yet with a warm, friendly personality and a refreshingly positive attitude. We started off with a cold bottle of Veuve Cliquot Champagne, delivered in an ice bucket with the perfect balance of water and ice, allowing the bottle to rest, well immersed in the ice water. What could go better with crisp champagne, than a half dozen Fanny Bay oysters accompanied with sourdough rolls and whole wheat olive rolls. The oysters were shucked properly, juices still intact and with just a squeeze of lemon, the flavors were exquisite. As long as we were at the ocean, dining on ocean delicacies, we decided to continue with the Seafood Platter, a combination of lobster, shrimp, crab legs and ahi tuna over a bed of ice and decorated with varieties of seaweed. The small, 1/2 lobster tail was broiled which gave it a unique flavor. The King Crab legs were split and though probably shipped frozen, were not watery nor mushy. The Shrimp were double sized, really firm and flavorful. The Ahi was accented with mild soy and garnished with ripe avocado, though it needed a healthy dose of squeezed lemon to really bring out the flavor. Beautiful experience from start to finish. Well worth the upper end price.
