When you just look at the Ty Lounge from the outside, you can't tell how big it'll be downstairs. I like the layout a lot - bottles of wine everywhere, relaxed lounge feel with couches but also bar seating/ high top tables. Everything looks very sleek and clean, and the lighting is not too bright, not too dim.

it's a nice setting to go chill/hang out/have a couple of glasses of wine, maybe to even bring a date. But it's not definitely not a place to go to if you want something to munch on while sipping a glass of wine.

With three different wine palates in our group, we asked the waiter for a red recommendation. He made an absolutely on point suggestion, and all three of us were so happy that we ordered a second bottle.Service was fantastic, and the food was great too. We tried the squash blossoms and charcuterie, which were both delicious. If I lived in Montecito, CA, I would probably be a regular here!

The food here is better than at Bella Vista, the resort's flagship restaurant. They have a huge TV that they were playing sports on so it was loud. Otherwise, the place looks cool and has a great vibe. I think you can also sit out on the patio. Would eat here again.

We chose either to start or finish the evening with a drink in the Ty bar. We stayed inside as evenings are very cool this time of year.They do keep the door to the outside open so if you suffer from the chill best to chose a table as far away as possible from the door.They have live music playing in the evenings we went there. Spanish guitar was one evening.Staff were friendly and attentive .

5 stars for Wed and Sat music nights. Fantastic spanish guitar. Fabulous Tamarind margarita, which won a best of cocktail in SBA for good reason. Soon they will have some more plant based vegan options (impt for us dairy free/meat free folks if even not full vegan). They would get a 3 for current bar menu offerings but i know they are improving this so overall they still get the 5 star. It looks so fab during the holidays too!

What has happened to DJ Darla Bea??? Our dance group used to come regularly to eat, have drinks and dance. We were so looking forward to attending on NY Eve, but now have heard that she won't be there. This is very hard to understand, as Darla really brought in a lot of people who ordinarily would be put off by the Biltmore's kind of pompous reputation and service. We never found that to be the case. The staff was very attentive and friendly and helped us with several birthday parties. We are very disappointed by management's decision not to have DJ Darla Bea entertain in the Ty Lounge. It seems like the Bmore has regressed to its previous reputation. Too bad. We won't be back.
