Been going here for 45 years. But the last four times I've gone I've gotten cold and old. The last few years id go 4:30ish and had no issues ,still warm to the touch melt in your mouth & super delicious. Just outta the over fresh. Now over the last two months I've gone 4 times and it's the same thing, they're cold and old. Please fix this and then I'll fix the rating. Whatever or whoever
is running that place is running it into the ground

I bought donuts for Purim to hand out to homeless. 14 donuts in a Winchell's dozen. Two dozen=28 donuts

Always loved going to Winchells. Small inside locatio can get busy to order/receive donuts. Parking still an issue but to me it's worth it

My family was visiting SB on a Friday and wanted donuts for the beach. This was the closest donut shop. We chose a dozen for $19.99. We get to the tide pools and none of them are edible. Dry, stale, and old! I didn't know anyone could mess up donuts. My husband was so mad he trashed the whole box. Even our boys wouldn't eat them.

Bagels are good but they don't check the expiration date of the milk. I have bought chilas 3 times on different dates and the milk tastes sour.

Atmosphere let's say it's a very small business place. It can get very packed but once inside it makes up for that... I'm smiling! All the donuts smell so good and look so good and are so good ( well especially my fav's.. I'm not telling that's my secret.

It’s been a while since I hadn’t purchased any donuts. My family and I stopped by during Festas for a quick treat. 8/4/24
I was very disappointed that the donuts had tasted very heavy in grease .
Like they were sitting in grease
It wasn’t just one donut we had purchased a dozen donuts
Each one were greedy
The Mexican bread ( pan dulce) were amazing
light and fluffy delicious

Not sure what is going on with these donuts
What has changed in making donuts from the beginning of the year till now ? What are the bakers doing wrong ??
I stopped by Eler’s Donuts this morning found them light and airy and delicious

Day-old donuts

So we’re clear, the doughnuts are good. The service is laughably bad, they’re going to kill a business that has been a staple of the Eastside since I was a kid. The employees are very young, conveniently don’t speak any English when they don’t want to and fail to provide even the most basic customer service. The menu of the restaurant they work in seems foreign to them.
Anything other than the doughnuts is overpriced and under delivers, avoid the rest of the menu.

Really nice donuts and absolutely normal coffe. The cashier a bit confused but be patient, she tried her best. Overall good place to get donut dose or overdose ?

The cashier is so unfriendly. I just left and she seemed really annoyed with me when she took my order and handed me my sandwich. I asked for one thing with please and thank you, I would never treat anyone working a customer service job rudely. It doesn't make me want to come back even though I do like their donuts and breakfast bagels.

The lady that was helping us at Winchell's donut didn't know how to make the specials. Only thing she could do is just sell us regular donuts so it was nothing special about it
