The lady that was helping us at Winchell's donut didn't know how to make the specials. Only thing she could do is just sell us regular donuts so it was nothing special about it
My brother and my friend liked it. If you have any allergies to wheat, soy, or corn-I'd steer clear. There are other donut places in town for people with allergies. That being said, it's one of the oldest donut places in Santa Barbara (with the possible exception of Eller's on Upper State Street). This one is located on Milpas Street and has been serving that area for years. The parking lot is very small. They have great hours, as they are open all the time 24/7....
The donuts were yummy, and the older lady employee was also very friendly and helpful while we ordered. The bagels were also very soft and big. The reason I'm giving it a 4-star rating is because they can clean up the place a bit. The area where you prepared the coffee was messy.
