We need last minute small catering (15 people) planned for a corporate summer event and found Woody's here on yelp. I was a little hesitant because some of the reviews, but I am so glad we went with Woody's. Kim was extremely helpful in planning our event even with only 2 days lead time. She was efficient, friendly, and made sure we had what was needed for our small event. Food was delivered timely and it was hot and delicious. The tri-tip and ribs were a hit and there was tons of food provided (and leftovers) for what we chose. I would definitely choose Woody's for both a casual get together or another corporate event.

This used to be a reputable bbq establishment, but has gone downhill. I ordered a sandwich and only received half of it. Not to mention, the restaurant was empty when I showed up, which should leave little room for error. They did get me a whole new sandwich, so that was nice. Tip: stick to Mexican food when in SB/Goleta.

their ribs were undercooked which has never happened at a BBQ restaurant before in our experience. The French fries were really undercooked and not crispy but somehow burned at the same time. The food generally does not have good flavor or enough seasoning. Smoked chicken was ok, but not a lot of flavor. Coleslaw was ok but nothing to write home about. pretty dissiapointing overall.

Was quite excited to try this bbq spot. Inside has a great decorative layout. As for the food and portions, TERRIBLE! Tri tip sandwich was very disappointing. 4 pieces of meat with a cold, small bun no flavor at all. Not even the birds would eat this. Sauce tasted just about like ketchup. Better yet, ordered a side of onion rings which was about 5$ and only came with 5 rings. Closing start of September. Definitely will not go to the next location until they get the basics understood.

Too bad this place is closing this month of July 2021…. I really enjoyed it and will look for them in their new location elsewhere. I’m so Thankful for my desired rib and tri-tip meal. We looked up the best rib place in the area and found them, definitely true. I’ll return to the place new place they mentioned next time we are in the area. Thank you Woody’s BBQ!!
If I could give it a zero I would. The guy at the counter was nice but the food was horrible. My husband who is NOT a picky eater at all was totally disappointed. The place is not very clean and very overpriced. We should have known better you could not smell the food and it's a BBQ place so that should have warned us. The meat was not cooked properly the Mac and cheese was grainy the beans nasty even the baked potato tasted days old. Not going back ever. Good thing we had Axxess because it was really expensive I felt like I had just wasted a lot of money. I didn't eat it. We were offered a free dessert with Yelp but the food was so bad we didn't take the free dessert. No one ever came by the table after the actual order came. If they had I would have told them how terrible the food was.

Have eaten at Woodys BBQ for years . We always get the full extra meaty beef ribs and they never disappoint. The ribs come with two sides . I highly recommend the patato salad and chili beans. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu . Everything I have ordered has been excellent.

Brisket Overcooked, no bark, no smoke, no seasoning, fat wasn't trimmed and drowning in weak sauce. It would appear to me that the brisket was seared on one side and boiled, which would explain why the fat wasn't rendered down. Probably the 2nd worst brisket I have put in my mouth. Buffalo Wings Any pizza parlor serves a better wing

Friendly service and great tasting food. We ordered several different sandwiches and they all were delicious and large portions. We will be going back again soon to try the ribs and other items on there delicious menu.

The young lady at the front was very helpful and knows the menu very well. We got the monster combo and it was great. Their spicy BBQ sauce is very good and you won't find it anywhere else. The chicken here is not dry. This place offers indoor and outdoor sitting and the decor is great. Drinks are self served, the place is kept clean.
