Yona Redz offers delicious birria tacos with a rich beef broth flavor, though some found them not spicy enough. The pork taco was a bit bland. The birria de chivo, especially in a Vampiro, was an exceptional dish. Expect to pay around $20-30 per person. The friendly owner provides excellent service. Parking may require some effort, but it's an overall great dining experience with an outdoor patio seating area.
The restaurant is known for serving authentic birria with goat meat, staying true to tradition. Customers can also opt for pulled beef barbacoa, but the chef may not approve. The bartender even offers mini birria tacos as a garnish for the Micheladas. The birria tacos are absolutely top-notch, and adding a blue margarita and a taquito de papa makes for an outstanding meal. The staff is terrific, and the overall experience is highly recommended.
