This Yoshinoya at its best makes great food. Unfortunately, the food is usually not at its best.Oftentimes the meat is tough and stringy. They rely heavily on their sauces the make up the flavor. The vegetables, especially the cabbage, are often old and discolored. I wish I could say I was surprised when they served me the sorry-looking vegetables in this picture.To be fair to this Yoshinoya, this photo shows a worse than usual result. But it is telling that they serve food...
The older Asian lady here is so nice.I come here just to say hi.The food is what you expect from any Yoshinoya operated properly.If you don't mind the thinly sliced beef, I absolutely love their beef bowls.Large beef, no juice, extra grilled onions is the way to go!
I really can't complain. I've been to the one in Albany before, and was in CA and craving some deep dish so we decided to hit his place up. This place is just as great as the Albany location.
