Excellent food. Very quick service (felt a bit rushed, but it’s ok). Place was a bit dark. Other patrons weren’t too loud. We ordered two rolls and green bean tempura, all of which were delicious. We asked for spicy mayo but didn’t expect we were going to be charged for it.

We've been going to all the regular ones around town and noticed bar 29 as we were driving by. It's not the most obvious restaurant on that corner but definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants in Santa Barbara! spent a few days in Santa Barbara, & sushi bar 29 was our favorite meal out of the whole trip! everything we ordered was executed beautifully, & Kiko (our server) took care of us. 10/10 recommend
