Achilles is a great greek, medeterrainian spot in Santa Clara. There are few places that compare to this spot in the South Bay. My absolute favorite is a spicy pork gyro as well as a fallafel from them.

I would avoid eating in if you don't want to be in a small busy restaurant, I personally always order takeout.

In my opinion skip the fries, they are expensive and boring.

The bar next door will let you order food from there and eat in the bar if that's your style.

The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is it is in my opinion expensive for what it is, but sometimes I do crave it, and money doesn't matter.

Overpriced. Way overpriced. There are multiple places with exactly same order tasted better for 20% less.

Awesome place for to-go, staff are always energetic and friendly. My go-to order is the Shawarma or Gyro Beef Platter.

Really tasty gyro and falafel. A fast take away spot or you can dine in at their outdoor patio.

This place is a hidden gem for sure. I get the chicken shawarma wrap with veggies, hummus, Achilles spread (basically toum), tahini, and spicy sauce. The staff here is also super friendly. There are a few indoor seats but I can get pretty warm in there, so I like sitting on the patio if I dine in. I love coming here :) PS there’s parking in the back!

This shawarma wrap wasn't really my style. I felt the strong flavors from the sauce and other fillings, despite my light choices, completely masked the taste of the chicken. The chicken was also quite bland on its own. Others might enjoy it, but it didn't hit the mark for me, still not bad. I could eat again if I'm around and need to fill my stomach

Bad customer service. A spread on their wrap is included in the price of it. My boyfriend (who is allergic to garlic) did not want the garlic spread in the wrap. At check-out, I asked for a small ramekin side of the garlic spread for my half of it and even said we would order an extra side of pita bread in addition and they refused saying that we would have to pay for a larger to-go size container of the spread 😐 They would not budge on giving a small ramekin of the item.

Dirty, unfriendly service, terrible food.

Greek restaurants in bay have discovered a shitty business model that they serve something like card board and they frame it as beef gyro.
