Great food and very friendly people. My usual is chicken shawarma plate and/or achilles special (falafel sandwich) and both are really awesome.
Ordered a large order for takeout and the owner was extremely accommodating and had phenomenal communication! The food was fantastic, wrapped well so it wouldn't spill in transport. The falafel was phenomenal, even some of my coworkers who don't like falafel in general said it was good! I would highly recommend going!Vegetarian options: Falafel is fantastic!

I came in for a quick bite with my little kids, and the staff was so incredibly kind to us, engaged with my kids (who were not behaving well at all), and gave them a complimentary snack. I was very touched by the customer service, and we will be back for sure!
Had to give Achilles a try with so many reviews.Dee greeted us and was extremely friendly.The 3 of us ordered:-beef plate-chicken plate-beef wrapFood was good. Flavors were nice. Dee gave us each a falafel to try. After going another 2-3 times, I do wish the beef (not sure if its the same as the chicken) was hotter. At times, it seemed almost cold.Outside seating only.4% surcharge for non-cash payments which is a bit of a bummer.Parking is limited in the lot, otherwise, street parking.

I wish I tried this place sooner as I've been driving by it for many years! So, so good. I've had the Achilles Special and Combo plate- both delicious! You won't be disappointed here! I try to go once a week now.

So happy to discover this place. My son got the beef gyro and I got the Achilles chicken plate with the half salad/half rice. We both asked for all the toppings and got the taziki sauce. Their Achilles sauce was yummy and same with the baba ganoush. All was delicious and is now one of my top favorite Greek restaurants (only behind a fancy joint in London near the Tower Bridge)!This San Jose location is in a hidden strip mall but nice sitting outside. I'm looking forward to trying their location in Santa Cruz soon!

Great place to grab a bite to eat to go or sit at the small patio outside. Good falafel and gyro. The plates are a huge amount of food for the price. Also, the hot sauce that they have is really good and has a nice spice to it.
