I’m surprised by the high reviews but I thought this was incredibly unappetizing. The katsu was too cheesy. Is that how typical katsu is? The location feels very ghost kitchen too.

Edit: I had the “amazing katsu” which does have cheese but it was not amazing or similar to pizza as advertised

Really tasty and interesting take on katsu. The signature katsu is like a pork "shell" stuffed with a cheese sauce. They also have regular tonkatsu if you're not into that.
My only problem is that it's takeout only, so by the time I got home, the cheese was already getting cold. I'd be more likely to come back if there was a table to eat at.

The tenderloin katsu was incredible, especially with the generous portions of sides! Please don’t compare it to that thin, dry tonkatsu… this is on another level and a must-try!

Got to chat with the owner while waiting for my order and this man is *dedicated*. We talked a bit about all the work he put into making this the best tonkatsu you can find and when I got to taste the fruits of his work that love and effort really showed. This is hands down the best tonkatsu I’ve tried in the Bay Area, and maybe even North America (and I’ve tried a lot of tonkatsu over the years). If you’re even a little curious give this place some love and find out for yourself. So many great restaurants have had it tough over the last few years and I would love for this place to be a success. We all deserve to have great tonkatsu in the Bay!

Don’t order the amazing katsu! It is just a very very thin layer of pork meat with a full filling of cheese! The picture is very misleading and you would expect a layer of cheese on top of regular portion of pork loin at such a price

As the name suggests... amazing katsu! Best Japanese version/Korean made katsu in the bay area. Certainly the best I've ever tasted here in America! Just focus on the food & not the place.

One of the best katsu I have ever had. The pork tenderloin katsu deluxe set is amazing! Had it for take out and the presentation was perfectly set up. They carve a hole on the box where the katsu is to keep it as crispy and fresh as possible. Carrot mash potato, rice, cabbage, curry, miso soup are all delicious. Even had wasabi and pink salt on the side. Will buy again!

Only support pickup. The katsu is pricey and tasted like the one I bought from Hmart.

This hidden gem has the best katsu I’ve had outside of Japan! The menu has Japanese and Korean influences and they serve a variety of cheese, chicken, shrimp, pork and pork tenderloin katsu! My favorites are the pork tenderloin and the shrimp (ebi) katsu. The breading was crispy and fluffy and the pork was so juicy and tender!

I'M IN LOVEEEE! Korean-styled Katsu is not a common dish to come upon in the Bay Area, and I must say... this place makes is well.

I got the Pork Tenderloin Katsu, which the staff described as a "filet mignon texture" and I completely agree. This was a very lean cut of pork, but the way it was prepared allowed the meat to be TENDER and JUICY!

My one gripe is that the bottom of the katsu was slightly soggy due to the moisture in the takeout container, but it still had a good crispiness on the top! A great crunch.

The sides of rice, cabbage, and potato salad were perfect for me. Good portions and complimented the katsu in different ways. Love that they gave lots of cabbage! I can't wait to come back here.

The katsus here are absolutely delicious, ‘nuff said.

I have been looking to try cheese katsus like the ones in South Korea, this is the best cheese katsu I have had in the South Bay so far. Their Signature Amazing Katsu turns cheese katsus up a notch with the added flavors of the vegetables. The Pork Tenderloin Katsu is very tender and moist. I love their katsu sauce, really flavorful.

The cheese katsus are 90% cheese and 10% meat. If there was an option to get both the Signature Amazing and Pork Tenderloin katsu cuts together, that would be amazing!!

I am looking forward to try their chicken katsu next time.

We ordered ahead of time through DoorDash and did pick-up. They are located inside Elite Event Center.

I have been eyeing this spot for a long time. After finally trying this, I just had to do a same-day review after trying their katsu.

Katsu is one of my favorite foods. What I look for is simple-- it has to be crunchy with clean breading and the meat has to be tender, juicy and flavorful. The sauce is also important but the katsu has to stand out on its own. I have tried many katsu places in the Japan, USA/Hawaii (Tamafuji anyone?), and the USA so I can be picky about how it tastes.

Amazing Katsu hits it out of the park and is easily among the best katsu in the Bay Area. The katsu here is just what I am looking for when it comes to flavor, tender meat, crispiness, and overall clean taste. I ordered the ebi katsu, tonkatsu, chicken katsu, spam katsu, cheese katsu, potato salad, and miso soup. Everything was delicious, so it is honestly hard to pick a favorite, but the spam katsu and cheese katsu were unexpectedly delicious. The flavors are a mix of Korean and Japanese tastes. The wine salt and wasabi were great touches. I can tell that they put a lot of care into preparing their food and I can sense they use clean oil, fresh ingredients, and carefully choose where they source their meat. For example, the ebi katsu was actually a huge prawn and not just from frozen.

They currently offer take out and delivery, so I recommend eating this as quickly and as fresh as possible, like with any fried food. They do a great job with packaging and slit a hole in the box, so the food does not get too soggy. After a 10 minute drive home after picking up my order, everything was still warm and crispy. I heard they have plans to open a restaurant and I cannot wait until they do.
