Saturday Food Adventures at Asadero BBQ in Santa Clara, CA. @asaderobbq The BBQ Mole Pulled Pork Tacos Are Giving Me Life right about now. I found this place totally by accident but I'm so glad that i did. The tacos are great and come with an awesome selection of fresh salsas and house made dips as accompaniments. The draft beer selection is pretty righteous as well. They brew the beer in house as well. I'll be back in there next week for more goodies :) #eatingwithchefsean It's Gon Be Dope #yummy #food #california #bayarea #santaclara #foodforfoodies #nice #local #instagood #ubereats #chefseanandre #ilovefood #mylifeilive #mylifeilove #instafood #tacos #cerveza #beer #saturday #weekend

We always come here for STREET TACO and their salsa, it's like the best in town, I could not find it anywhere besides Asadero. But they changed their menu lats week to American BBQ which makes me a little bit upset but honesty their BBQ is also AMAZING! Pork ribs are marinated pretty well, juicy, savory and sweet. Brisket is tender, I like the pepper that coated outside, tri-tip is so-so since I often like food with sauce anyway, but I am glad that it has less fat. Good bbq menu, hopefully they will have street taco back sometimes :)))

From start to finish the experience I had at this establishment was exquisite. Right from the beginning i was greeted by Olivia, for all I know this girl has been working in customer service for her entire life! She was very prompt and helpful while ordering. The food was spectacular and I highly recommend the ribs and the beef Tri Tip. They also have an assortment of draft beers and other fun drinks Overall 10/10 for this place for food quality/taste/ customer service.

They changed their name to The Alameda Barbecue. I got the runs shortly afterwards.

This place is fantastic! I love their mole but everything is good. Their portions are large too.I like the dinning on the 2nd floor patio as well.

Chicken nachos were huge and had great smoke flavor. Ordered a chicken quesadilla as well but didn't get that far because the nachos were too much to handle. My buddy ordered some ribs and said they weren't great at all though. Ribs on the west coast should eaten with caution anyhow....

Tried them out recently. Got a bowl "gordo style" with chicken. The most notable thing about it was the level of saltiness... which was overwhelming. Be prepared to be thirsty the rest of the day. Other than that, it was entirely uninteresting. Tiny bit of avocado on top. All in all, not a place I'd eat at again.

Great Mexican bbq fusion. BBQ chicken and pork are both pretty good, they serve very good Mexican sour cream, but are a little light on the sauce side, both quality and quantity wise.

Tried the bbq ribs... sad and dry. No real authentic mole flavor. The salsas were soooo good!! Pass on the chicken wings!! No crunch, no Smokey bbq flavor.. plain wings in sauce.

My burrito bowl was DELICIOUS. The beer suggestion from the manager was delicious. The customer service was great. After some miscommunication on a reservation for dining on the roof patio, the manager Adrian graciously scrambled to get set up for our small party. We were celebrating someone's birthday - and I didn't realize that it was a counter service spot. Adrian offered to wait on us. Great customer service, amazing food, amazing drinks. I'll be back.

This restaurant is awesome! The menu has such a variety of unique meals that you don't find in other food chains! It's family owned I believe they are from Wyoming and they have a really nice outdoor patio with a fire pit in the middle. Dog friendly will definitely be back again!

When I'm craving smoky and tender steak, Asadero is my to go place. Their tri tip is really good. I typically get their tacos (3 in an order) or burrito, flaco style (meat + pico de gallo). Both come with 2-3 freshly made salsas on the side. If you opt for gordo style, you get black or pinto beans, sour cream, and avocado. What I appreciate about their burrito is that they grill the tortilla on the outside, and that their guacamole is chunky and fresh. I must say that I miss their hand mande tortillas the tacos were wrapped in, which they stopped offering around Aug 2020. I imagine due to Covid, they've had to make some adjustments to reduce costs, which I understand. There were a few instances where my order was incorrect and I contacted them to just let them know to check orders more thoroughly and they were kind to acknowledge my correspondence and correct it. Great, tasty, quality food by a family-owned business. Thumbs up.

Just moved to the area and was craving a burrito bowl, but not a Chipotle fan. Found this spot Wednesday night (Dec 23) and the best part: it's only two miles from my house. The lady who took my order (Jeni? Yeni? Sp?) was incredibly polite and friendly. While we chatted, my food was ready within minutes. I really, really hope they survive this season of hardship we all are facing. This place has great food - fresh and yummy and reminds me of something we'd eat at my abuelos' ranch for a family get-together. I ordered the tri tip burrito bowl and cannot wait to try the others.
