Athena Grill & Catering

Athena Grill is a fantastic greek restaurant with various halal options. They have a number of dishes that are halal on-request. They are really close to the MCA Masjid, and I've had many positive experiences with friends here before. Note that not all dishes are halal.

This review is based on my last meal here with my husband and mother-in-law. My husband got a lamb gyro wrap, and a swordfish souvlaki wrap. My mother-in-law had the lamb souvlaki plate. I had the Biftekia. All of the food came with crunchy garlic fries and the waiter also surprised us with two salads for the table. The portion sizes are generous; my husband was barely able to finish his food, but not for lack of trying. We all had a really good time and the food was great. They have nice indoor seating, but I generally prefer the outdoor seating. If you're looking for good halal greek food, then I definitely recommend Athena Grill.

This place is amazing! Food and service is beyond anything I’ve experienced before. I always get their salmon, rice and Fries. Make sure to try their purple sauce with the fries.

The place is great if you just want to have a tasty food, without spending a fortune, and don't care much about the atmosphere. It's a cozy place, but not really fit for a date. I took 3 lamb chops, and they were delicious, and that was a real quality meat for only 32$. Highly recommended.

Athena Grill & Catering is a pleasant surprise in an industrial area. The pita is excellent, and mains like the lamb chops and fish are spot-on. The appetizer octopus was a bit small and salty, but overall it’s a solid, satisfying meal.

Decent food, very similar to dish and dash in terms of food quality and taste. I tried something called Spanakopita which I think it's a savory version of baklava :-). There are many other dishes worth trying, waiting for the next time

It is a gem of the place for getting best Mediterranean food. Service was great. Food was super yummy. We tried different appetizers with 4 different dips( a must get) grilled calamari, falafel and some more. For main course we tried pita wraps and those were yummy and great portion size. The owner is such a friendly guy and came and talked to us. He pointed us to the picture in restaurant with him carrying the Olympic torch.
If you want best Mediterranean food experience then please go there.

One of the best Greek food restaurants in Santa Clara County. Been around for over 25 years. Authentic and flavorful worth ur money 💰. My favorite dish is either their gryo wrap or gryo plate. So much food for a reasonable price. The sword fish 🐟 to their falafel u can't go wrong every taste good here. So do ur self a favor and treat ur self you'll be glad u did

Athena Grill is a hidden gem. I had calamari and moussaka. Both were enjoyable with good portion. Service was quick and promptly. I would definitely return to try other dishes.

Food tasted fresh and flavorful but it just didn’t have the wow factor for the price tag. It’s about 25% more expensive than other Greek restaurants but it doesn’t taste better.

Lamb & octopus is very good! Beef is a little dry. Also recommend Greek yogurt for dessert, other desserts might be too sweet for us.
